I'm following the saga on FB. I hope your kitteh gets better!

Awww, poor kit teh.  Hope its okay, and heals quickly.  Do the best pampering you can, Socks.

Awww, poor kitty

It'll all be worth it in the end, it almost always is with the four-legged critters.

You don't HAVE to, but I've found a good workout is a great way to get over the stress of the day.

I would do that ... if I didn't have to go see this trainer tonight. He always makes me hurt for a week.

Finishing work and heading to the gym to run and then pick up some heavy things and put them back down.

Have a good night, y'all!

I'm doing great this Friday...

I left my groceries in the car overnight. Thankfully, not a ton of stuff, and VERY little requiring refrigeration...

I forgot to set an alarm. I missed swim practice. My dog woke me up shortly after 6, though, which was nice

AND I forgot I was supposed to go to a training class for software I use this morning instead of coming to work. Oops.

How's everyone else?

Woke up a little late but nothing too bad, no AM workout scheduled and made it to the office on time. Not bad considering I was out "late" for a show, finally was able to see the old school punk band X. For a band that formed in 1977 they are still rocking and put on a great show.

Sick with a cold and irritated that 3 packages were apparently stolen from my front porch last Friday. All of them show delivered (by three different carriers, so can't blame them) and I was house-sitting so didn't get home till Saturday. Getting a refund for one of them (out of stock now), one is being re-shipped and the other I'm going to have to re-purchase.

My fault for ordering a bunch of stuff and then not being home they day they were delivered, but it still stinks.

That totally SUCKS.  I had that happen, was told it had been delivered etc and the Company re-sent it.  like 4 weeks later it landed on my porch.  No idea.  I sent it back to the company as they had kindly sent me a replacement and it was an expensive item

My oldest son dove for a ball in basketball practice and a kid landed on him, which resulted in him having 3 stitches on his chin. No big deal really, he was paying the next day in the game.

He is really enjoying his 15 minutes of fame at the school as the guy who got his chin busted playing basketball. He tells me how people are coming up to him that have never talked to him before. I told him there are 3 main statements of fact when it comes to sports injuries.

1. Pain heals

2. Chicks dig scars

3. Glory is forever!

Donate it. I am sure you could find someone that is willing to eat the same thing for a week.

If you're feeling extra nice, get your turkey and buy a bunch of sides (stuff for green bean casserole, box of stuffing, cranberries, etc) and anonymously drop off at a house of someone you know is having a hard time/struggle and may not be able to have a nice meal this time of year.

Got to the office this morning and powered on my laptop as usual and was greeted by a system failure.  Machine is dead.  IT is looking at it now, but I stand to lose a ton of code/work.  Operating on a loaner system, so I don't have more than just email and internet right now.
