Expert 1092 Earth | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... Eric, You know I wonder if you don't work for the Associated Press. Clearly that is a doctored photo, and as such we must wonder if the real reason you have hit your biking miles for the month (2 weeks ago no less) is that you have been using the afore mentioned contaption. You know I think that explains a lot! |

ott13979 - 2006-09-27 8:18 AM Hey Daremo.....I've noticed that you have a keen eye for cheaters an spotting the metric system misuse..... With that being said.... Speedball (team captain for the Nanner Slugs) has just purchased a Segway (I saw the empty box in his trash) and now his run mileage & pace has suspiciously increased..... I asked myself 'What Would Daremo Do'???? (WWDD.... put that one on a bracelet) So just before dark last night I hid in the bushes right across the street from Speedball's home..... I got this picture Eric |

Master 2231 Des Moines, Iowa | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... Update!!! Miles to Kilometers / Kilometers to Miles ....Fooeeyy!! I recalc'ed the Wombats and they are still in the lead...new percentage is 74.74%. So standings remain as posted....BUT, the margin is a little slimmer. Thanks for pointing this out. |

Master 2231 Des Moines, Iowa | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... The final results are in and the Fighting Pickles win by a nose! Congrats to the Pickles. I think it was due to the tremendous leadership of the "Head Pickle" that they won; inspiring his troops to victory (That would be the soon-to-be-famous Eric Otte). A couple of thoughts and thank-yous....

Expert 1092 Earth | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... I thinik the fightinh Pickles should have a 3% point penalty for blocking, or for having a hound dog... heck 3% for BOTH! So that means they finished at 86.57% and the Banana Slugs WIN!!!! |

Master 2231 Des Moines, Iowa | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... Prophetic... ott13979 - 2006-09-09 7:38 AM I'm torn...... my smack talking competitive ways are being superseded by my desire for each person in this challenge to make his/her goals..... but.... on the other hand..... In the end the Pickles will reign supreme over the rest of the field… I’m sure the rest of you will come very very very close to making your goals, lose a bunch of weight, twist your ankles, lower your bad cholesterol, fall off you bike, hone your training regimen, make new BT friends, buy a hound dog from a guy in Kansas City, develop a love for biking or running, etc… all good things… but in the end you will cave to the pressure that the Pickles will apply… Give up now and you will not be losers... you will be a quitters… Trust me… I’ve learned by watching my friends it’s much better to quit then lose… why???... the stories baby, the stories… you can tell your great great grandchildren stuff like “we could of won that challenge” but we know better right? Go Pickles p.s. Bananna Slugs I would impeach your leader and find a test monkey to fill his shoes

Probably would have put them in 3rd place instead of second to last. He would be a cooked Griffin by my book :-) But what can I say....my month's results weren't too pretty. |
