Missed 3rd day of week 4 yesterday (to much revelry at the Phils parade - and by that I mean beer) but going to make it up today. If not I'll repeat week 4.

Plucking along.  ;-)

Unfortunately I already lost a couple of contestants of the push-up challenge I started at work.

I'm starting Week 3 today.  Week 2 was a "re-do" for me, since I missed 2 days.

BUT in my post week 2 exhaustion test I was able to do 25 "boy" pushups - YAY me!!  I never thought I'd see the day.

Keep plugging along everyone.

Took the initial test today, could only do 10. Ugh. Everyone has to start somewhere.

I think 10 is a great #, actually. Not many people can push out 10 quality push ups.  It's a great place to start.  Have fun

Everyone is doing GREAT.

I am going to re-do week 2.  I completed it but I need to give these old bones some extra work before moving on up the scale.  Started back at Week-2 Day 1 today.

W2/D1-68 total/20max

Does anyone feel their max is decreasing?

In week 2, I did 40 pushups (albeit bad formed pushups), but now in week 3 I can't seem to get past 25 (good form).

It could be just that your doing push ups with good form now.  They are harder.

Gettin' there. Week 5 starts tonight with at least 180 total according to the chart. Have had to "warm up" with about 15 pushups as the 1st set has been causing so pain in my wrist/thumb area. I think it's a bit of carpal tunnel but a little warm up scares it away.

week 1-day 1

6-6-4-4-11

Since my right leg is injured, I have to do "girl push-ups". The alternative would be to keep my right leg off the ground, but I am not that talented, yet.

That's just insane! I'm not sure I can ever be a week 4er if that's what it's going to look like.  *gulp*
