Okay its 5:30 and I am waiting on daylight. Log says 137 but its still missing my race which puts me at 156. Gonna go get at least 20 this morning to put me over half way home. Got races the next 2 weekends so I gotta get at least 3 morning rides during the week. Darn that confounded rooster.

Thought I'd save this from being pushed to the second page!

102/150 68% of the way home, but I'll be out of town this weekend so it may be slightly stagnant for the next week. That said, I'm on track for my goal + !

Doughboy - 2005-06-12 7:38 PM while it does not sound like a lot compared to many posts from other participants, i put in about 7.5 miles today, which puts me at 60% for my part of the challenge

You bet your sweet doughy posterial its a big deal!!!  Woo Hoo!  60% achievement is awesome at this stage of the challenge!!!!  You keep that up, and you'll be close to 200% by month's end!  Congrats!

Frank,

I just read your log about your ride yesterday -- way to finish it out. It is impressive to me when people dig deep to finish in difficult circumstances more so that when they go long through easier times.

Keep up the great work man.

Yeah, I pinked another 20 miles today (113/360).  The latter half of this month will include some big, long bikes.  I hope every one of you guys has plans to blow through your goals.  Rock on, Bones!

I took a detour on the way to work and got 10.6 miles in this morning. I'll log at least 7 on the way home. I have come to realize that the short, steep climbs are not as hard as the subtle, almost un-noticeable upgrades that last 2-3 miles.

boy, oh boy. Daughter was sick in the hospital so I missed about 100miles over the last few days. Not good BUT now the fam is outta town so I have extra time to myself. I believe I can make it up in about 3-4 days. MAybe I should have just added the percentage instead of double-ing my miles. Oh well. I'll give it my best shot.

Also remember to copy your race reports to your logs to get credit for your cycling miles. Instructions are here:

Subject: Upping my goal
Bear,

I was doing the math and I will hit my goal by the end of this week. To be fair, I think I need to up my goal to 700 miles for the month. Between what I have and what I am scheduled to do through the end of the month this number will push me to go longer at the end of every ride.

Thanks,

Mike

I got in 8 more miles today.  That should bring me to about 1/3 of my goal.  Planning a 30 miler next weekend which would put me at 90% by the end of the week.

Go Bones!!!

Did a quick update this afternoon, and by my reckoning the Goblinesses are still ahead, like 55% to 54.5%. Testosterboners need to dig in and log those miles.
