Missed Monday's weigh in - Weighed in today at 157.8 - I have been trying to pay more attention to portion sizes. Seems to be helping this week.

I can tell I have relaxed too much on my food choices.....still in range so there isn't damage to undo......but enough to remind me that it doesn't take much to add weight.  Having a bad couple weeks at work and the stress eating combined with missed strength training is catching up to me.

"Glad to see that you are having results (especially within the first couple of weeks)!  Plyo will make you a mean soccer player.  Keep pushing it (bring it).  How did you like yoga?"

I did have a little head start in the gym, so I wasn't going into it soft. The first few weeks of p90x did give me more definition though.

The spring in my step is back for soccer from plyos. Bouncing from one foot to the other is so much easier and it makes for quicker touches on the ball, and more accuracy because my form is good and strong.

I like the yoga, but have to admit, it's hard on the knees. Always has been, so I usually have to do the easier or modified version of a lot of moves. Speaking of knees, the plyos can do a number on them too. I have to be very careful. I can't go buck wild.

I'm happy with it so far!

Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red...

This week's weigh in shows some progress & I'm happy about it! Didn't make great choices all weekend, but was able to recover quickly from the bad choices.

Last week of teaching for the semester...I'm hoping to find some extra time in the summer to add strength back into my routine (I drop it when my run-plan gets too long).

Weigh in day and.....

the scale is broken. Anything you put on it weighs 150. Me, my husband, my cat.

So, I get a reprieve until I go buy a new one.

You might want to lower the cat's food ration.  Or start taking it with you on runs.

weigh in today..... 198.5 (down 1.5 from last week).  Making progress.  Maybe I can make a deal with myself to get a nice tri bike if I get down to 185-190...  got ~700 saved up for one right now... maybe losing that much will take long enough for me to save up enough to get something good (well, something more suited for tri's than the cross bike that I use now [with cross tires... extra resistance training???]).

Best of luck to everyone else in your weigh-ins.

Go here to sign up.  We will just track weights in the spreadsheet but you still need to track your other stats and photos in your blog.

I'm up a few ounces this week to 137. EEP! Not horrible, but I don't like gains. ARRGH.

Nice job, Tom on the 1.5! Woo hoo!

I was up on Friday, up MORE today .... partly bad food choices, partly hormones.

Resetting again ... going to be hard with the PMS which makes me crave all SORTS of food, but going to do it anyway.  I'm kind of sick of the see-sawing I've been doing.

Congrats to everyone who's doing so well!  I love to see it - it's a great kick in the butt for me!

Well, we had First Communion for my little girl on Sunday - which meant party party party.  I've been a huge slacker this last week - failing to exercise and eating poorly - so - it's no wonder I am wayyy up on the scale.  HM this Saturday - so - I'll be scaling back as the week goes on - and if I do it right, will be down 5 lbs or more by Sat.  (I wanted to be at 210 - but that is out of healthy reach)

I did ok last week.  Finally got back to swimming and feel like I am doing well for not having swam for quite awhile.  Same for running.  I missed my long bike.  I have plenty of excuses for why, but in the end, I didn't do it.  Hopefully this week I'll get it done!  Wearing my tri shorts inspires me to keep working out (if just for vanity reasons).

Best of luck to everyone this week!

Weighed in Monday, since I was out of town on Friday. Down almost a pound and, even better, some of my clothes are getting loose.

I decided to skip the swim today as I can't see worth a **** without contacts and can't wear them yet.  (I despise glasses, forgot just how much until this!)

that means no weight today.....maybe Thursday.

Weighed in today.  I've gained a pound in two weeks.  Not too bad considering how awful my thyroid is right now.

Talk about making your day frustrating, and upsetting.  Did measurements this a.m. and found measurements from about 2 years and 2 months ago.  20 pounds heavier, extra 4 inches around the middle.  That should be motivation.  We'll see if I follow through.

When I want to feel better I pull out my measurements from the nine month point of my third pregnancy.  Yowser!!

Scale stayed the same this week - no loss - no gain.

I am still up a bit from my stress eating a couple weeks ago, but have dropped half a pound of it.  Overall in a good range so not stressed at all.
