I know it's a bit before schedule but guess who might be coming to Indonesia in the winter????? Winter or not, whoever it is, you just ought to know that now BOTH Jakarta and Bali have marathons. I dunno, I might melt running in either of those places. Can't I just do a 10K or something? Anyway, long story short J's aunt and uncle are taking a sabbatical and their home base will be in Bali. J's Dad and step-mom will be visiting them for 3 months or so in the winter some time and I plan on visiting them. So, it's a visiting train. Awwwwwyaaaaaah ... oh wait not that kind of train. But it could be This island might not survive Tina, me, and you all on it at the same time. I'll warn the troops, make sure we have reinforcements and an excellent stockpile*, etc. *Pop Tarts |

Seattle | Subject: RE: Mad Mutant Manatee Mentors 4--CLOSED I'm going out to our family property at the canal with a bunch of my rowdy cousins to harvest and eat a bunch of seafood on the beach tonight and tomorrow morning. Wish me luck. If something is to go extremely wrong before Boston, tonight will be the night. |

Do not put off doing one's yearly Staff Review and Development Plan until the Friday afternoon when it is due, especially on a Friday when it is actually beautiful outside. 2. The septuagenarian faculty member whose office is very near my veal pen is playing club/techno music, a far cry from his usual piano or guitar or classical tunes which he plays at high volume (for an office/work area). Odd, very odd. I'm not the only one who picked up on his divergence from the norm. 3. How ya hangin' in there, Ann-Marie? |

This morining's speaker is James Reese who was one of the first FBI profilers. He worked on Silence of the Lambs and the character Dr Reid in Criminal Minds is based on him. He is proving to be a very funny and interesting speaker. Unfortunately, we have boring speakers this afternoon. So I will need this pod to keep me entertained this afternoon! Very cool about James Reese, he sounds fascinating; boo to boring afternoon speakers. He is awesome. I first started reading about him in Dead Men Do Tell Tales (forensic anthropology) and have since done a lot more. So very cool that you get to hear him! Does he sound like Ben Stein? Every economist sounds like Ben Stein. Bueller. Bueller? |

Not an interview just ... a casual meeting. She was totally game so I sent her a meeting planner and she just accepted it. Now I have no idea what I should say in the meeting!!!!! Help! WTH happened with the other interview/job op???? I can't get outta here and you have to juggle opportunities. What gives?!? Congrats!!!!!!!!! |

Perhaps you should express why that job is your dream job and let that naturally flow into how you are the perfect fit for the job etc. either that or ask her to go running with you. That will impress her!Oh maaan, my dream job might be opening up in the relatively near future (which is why I said my move to the Korea team is good but just a baby step) and my boss schmoozed for me a little bit and contacted the director of the department oh my behalf seeing if she would be willing to meet with me.
