Looks like I'll be doing some inspire editing. Sorry, everyone...I usually use my phone and didn't see that little button Good day everyone, I hope yours is going as well as mine. I admit, I am off from work today, so an 8-9 mile trail run is on the schedule this morning, followed by extreme relaxing and a trip to the running store with gift card in hand. New shoe time! First though, I wanted to answer the pressing Manatee questions of the day, Books:
I haven't read a good book for entertainment in a while. I am trying out the kindle app on my laptop, but I'm just not sure. I think I have a 0 attention span when it comes to books. Hockey: My DW and I became really big NY Ranger fans when we lived on Long Island. I can't stand the Islanders. Worse fans ever. Now that we live in Fl, I am a fan of the Lightning. But the Rangers are always #1 in my heart. BTW, if someone sends you an "Inspire" and you want to reply, Hit the "Reply" button on the right side of the message. that should open a new browser window with their inspire list in it and you'll be able to type to them. Yeah, it doesn't always work very well on phones because it pops up another window. I do a lot of BT-ing via my phone when I am at home. It's because I am too lazy to go downstairs into the office and use the computer. Anyway, it is pretty lame. It's difficult to format and my auto-correct does some really strange stuff. So if you see something odd from me, I blame it on the phone. |

Riding my bike this morning was a HUGE mistake. I didn't crash but had waaaay too many close calls. It was a sheet of ice everywhere. At one point I even got off my bike and walked it. I am sore from being tense. Anyway, I learned my lesson. You really are a BAMF, but yeah ... definitely better to keep feet and head pointing in the right directions. Heh ... you are obviously just being nice. I think you meant to say not very smart. No. I know it's kind of shocking and unusual for such a total jock, but you're incredibly sharp. P.S. Phoebe seems to have a live rat impaled on her incisors. Should I be doing something about this? Hmmmm. This isn't something I often come across with an indoor pug that doesn't have many teeth left. You might be on your own for this one. |

No no! I love lizards. Almost all of them. Almost. EEEEEEEK shudder ... I have, on two recent occasions, taken photographs of unsaid eeeeechy things in a rudimentary and feeble attempt to get over my phobia. I can't go back and look at those photos, though. This week has caught up with me, the long journey back to work, sick kid etc. oh let's not forget my hormones - I've been a blubbering mess since last night pretty much! So I didn't train yesterday (Friday) at all, I couldn't just couldn't. Then a restless night. Now today I do have an OWS planned with 5 strangers, Macca has set us a phenomenal workout, gonna be very tough, It's around 3km. Lost of sprint races etc. I'm looking forward to it. I've then got a houseful for a bbq, the greeks are descending upon us - look I'm a very social person, but I do not like entertaining family I just don't - and these aren't my family I begrudge every moment of time taken from my training and given over to these people! Wrong I know! Just letting you know how I feel today. Tomorrow I'm running down to watch my friend in a tri. The run will be about 22km I think so that's nice. I'll have to leave around 5am! Yikes! So that means no alcohol today with the said family - yikes double. So I've neglected a long bike in there - I think even though i've got the long run and the swim today I need to fit something in. So right now I'm going to jump on the trainer for an hour. Then tomorrow I'll try and throw in a two hour and that should be good! My legs won't thank me but my mind will be settled that I got the volume in. Last manatee pod I used to gauge my mood byup to 5 smiley emoticons. Let me tell you today I can't give you one. |

You need some {{MELON PRESSES}}. I'd come over and entertain at your bbq for you if I could. Hoping some of the bbq attendees are hot Greek piglets. That, at least, would be a silver lining. My weather for my morning run was about 64*, with a trace of humidity creeping in. It's in the low 80s now. This is the Disney marathon weekend and I feel sorry for the runners with this unusually warm weather. The last time I ran Disney it was sleeting! Expert 1452 Troy, MI | Subject: RE: Mad Manatees Mentor Group - VERY CLOSED!!! Sorry! Longest run since the end of May. I was supposed to go 8, but made it 6. Not bad as that is probably the most I've run in 1 week since May and I did it all at one outing. I was running with a "slow" runner who posted up that she was just starting out. She failed to say that she was just starting out on her next marathon plan and that she has done 22 marathons on 5/7 continents so far and run Boston. So much for keeping it slow. I could slow her down to my sprint pace. I was toasted after 4.25 miles. She took off to do more mileage and I crawled back to my car (6 mile loop so it was a long crawl). Also, WTF is up with 50+ degree weather in Michigan? I was way over dressed with long pants. I rolled them up to capris but my legs were on fire. Women out in shorts and sports bras. I was thinking of stripping myself. |
