Crazy (maybe not THAT crazy)...

I couple took my wife and I out and suggested we go to a chinese joint for dinner.  They said they had these AMAZING crap things that we just HAD to try...  They just raved on and on about them...

They ended up being crab rangoon...  We just smiled and said they were good, but when we were alone (the wife and I) we started to laugh out loud.  Crab rangoon is available in just about every cheap chinese place in the country and this couple never even HEARD of them before.

That's like taking someone to an italian place and saying they have this new dish called lazagna....

I think I have food poisoning.  Possibly from sweet and sour pork & fried rice Monday night or indian food from the cart yestrday at lunch.  I really need to go home, but I have to do some more at work first. 

Oh, that's no good. Food poisoning is bad enough, but then to not be able to go home and take care of yourself there.... bleah. i'm sorry.

Man, I am not having a brain day today...I showed up a day early for a clinical trial appointment/ interview with a reporter. DOH!

Uhh ... I just signed up for an Iron Distance race in November.

I signed up for Beaches 2 Battleship 140.6 on Nov. 7 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Less than five months. Yikes.

I've heard that's a really good IM.

I finally made it home.  Ugh.  I hate being the only person in the lab who can deal with things.

Get this: The swim is WITH the current so it's supposed to be super fast. The bike is completely flat with one hill, at the end, where you go over a bridge. The run is, well, the run. I'm not worried much about the run except cramps and general fatigue. I'm going to get a training plan and TRY to stick to it. HALP!

theres a good tri training plan book that i have at home with different levels of training for Ironman plans that you can upload to BT..

i want to do the half next year!!

I'm considering that one or Augusta, but leaning towards Augusta.  It'll depend on what I hear after the race.

wilmington is SOOO PRETTY THOUGH!  is augusta the same time of year?
i think we should do b2b together (if i don't move to cali for grad school by then.  crap what half would i do if i get into berkeley?)
