This one is closer up but the other one had her arms raised in victory. I went with the closer shot so you could all see her wonderful smile. (BTW, yesterday during the Broncos game I took joy in the fact that as the players ran on the field we had run through their Bronco Tunnel)

Haven't had a chance to look those pics up.  They turned out pretty good (other than the fact that I think I look a bit dorky).  I had that same thought - so cool to think that we've been there too.  I tried to stay awake last night through the whole game but conked out toward the end of the 3rd quarter.  I'm such an avid fan.

The last quarter (half) was the antithesis of the first! Ugh. You didn't miss anything but some heartburn.

Hello from the Land of Epic...epic races and epic storms. Has Phoenix been on your news this morning? Crazy rain!

Saw a dentist first thing this morning. Root canal and temp crown scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. More work after that. Funny thing is that the tooth that looks whole is the one getting most work because it's cracked through too far up.    I do count my blessings, though. A man had to be flown off the course earlier in the day when he started seizing after crashing into a tree.

It was a beautiful day, the people were awesome, and I finished the course with 2min left before cut-off...that's why I could smile instead of cry. lol

Wow, a bit of a mixture of experiences for the racing manatees this weekend.  Some solid efforts and good finishes (Tom, Judi and Kirsten), some crashes (please heal quickly, Janyne and Erin) and a DNS.  Yup, that would be me.  Super condensed version (longer version is in my blog): I had to rush home from DE Sat. evening because one of my dogs, Coco, seemed to be very ill and in the opinion of DH, near death.  Turns out she has a musculoskeletal injury in her neck region, which is apparently a very painful injury for dogs.  She has drugs and is on restriction and is making small improvements, so I'm optimistic she'll keep improving and not require follow up visits or surgery or anything like that.  *fingers crossed*

Bad azz indeed!  Glad it wasn't worse.  Can't wait for the RR to get the full scoop!  2 minutes before cutoff = pure awesomeness!

So I finally got around to trying a different saddle (Cobb Max) on my tri bike.  OMG what a difference.  I went over bumps with no pain or discomfort.  I was only out for 45 min, so will try a longer ride this weekend, but 20 min on my stock saddle had me wincing.  This is good.

Well, I did it.  I signed up for the Zion HM on March 14.  I think all this exercise is rotting my brain and affecting my judgment.

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
