Thanks all!

Just be thankful that you cannot catch the cr*p I had over the interwebs.

Had my flu shot,  but according to another thread that is controversial.

No, it's not. It's only controversial if you lend as much weight to the random personal opinions of uninformed people as you do to decades and several million data points of science and evidence-based medicine.

Agreed!!! I especially get cranked up when parents don't vaccinate their children because they've listened to nonsense instead of science.

jobaxas - 2012-11-29 5:35 PM Labyrinthitis. Fluid in your inner ear needs to be at 38degrees swimming in cold ocean reduces that and makes nerve endings hyper sensitive hence the spinning feeling. Easily fixed three days of pills to reduce dizzy feeling. Can still swim and run probably not ride hahahaha!!In future in the open water wear earplugs. Oh avoid salt for three days and chocolate shoulda seen my face WTF!!!! I can have other candy and drink etc phew

Glad it's not major (except for giving up chocolate).

I believe that giving up chocolate is the very definition of major
Very major!

Manatees, thank you so much for being such a bright spot. Your messages, thoughts and prayers mean so much. I haven't had a chance to catch up with everything but I'm thinking of you guys too.

Janyne, you are ever the ... gracious lady ... that's putting a very nice word to what the truth is ...

Although I'm sure we'll enjoy Psalty jingling her bells anyway!

Oh wait. That's not what you were talking about?

In excellent news, I ate three rice crackers and a piece of French toast tonight.

I have been keeping coconut water down, too.

Oooh, I got mine yesterday. I always get them, more for everyone else than myself but this year I will admit it was 99 percent for me. I'd hate to get my Boston training derailed by something I can attempt to prevent.

I'm a total baby though. I made the lady do a countdown before she stuck me. I even sort of shrieked even though it didn't really hurt. She looked at me like I was pathetic. Which I guess I sort of am.

I thought I read something on Tracy's logs mentioning a race, but it isn't in her race list.

G'day Manatees,

I'm currently bidding on a Cervelo P1.  I'm about at my price range but if I can get it for cheap, why not?  I need a size 61 and you don't find good deals on used bikes that size very often.  Tons of size 54/56 bikes out there.  Oh yeah I'm all about the Bux gold thing Smile

Looks like you have some rewards to use! My only complaint is that because DH and I usually go together we probably spend twice as much as other people to get to the reward. Can't complain, I guess it's better than nuthin'.

My wife and I use 2 cards. Purchase our own and race to see who gets stuff first. Yep, I lead an exciting life!

What do you call a piglet who is European (probably Belgian), works in a lab, rides a bike to work in CYCLING KNICKERS?  I don't know, but it's hot.

Two days of absolutely no training - Manatees that has driven me nutso!  I'm back on it tomorrow.  Friends doing a tri so was going to run and meet them down there.  I think though it's about 15km, maybe a bit far given how I've been feeling....so instead I'll drive halfway and run halfway.

It's been an exhausting ride being constantly on a boat drunk!  Had the most exhausting night, every time I tried to turn over in bed I yelled like I was gonna fall, had to grab the mattress - so weird.

For the most part it's gone, another pill tonight - they're basically antihistamines from what I can make out.  Whatever they are helping.

Its DECEMBER!!! I figured it is about time I start living and enjoying 2012.   I am going as healthy as possible for the last month of the year.   Anyone up for a year end 30 day challenge?   Maybe even just 30 minutes of activity a day.  We should send this group out in style with tons of chatter until they archive us.

So far today fallen into the wall of a church (hidden agenda Big Guy?) down steps to beach and off the toilet. I may as well get drunk and at least have fun with it!

Oh, yes. I am in, too. I am doing the runners world thanksgiving to new years running challenge anyway, so 30 minutes a day will keep me honest.
