To be fair, I think I need to up my goal to 700 miles for the month.

Did I miss something? ... now we are allowed to count the miles we drive in our car?

700 miles in a month is impressive (so is 500). You go man. You go.

Rollin' Thunder - 2005-06-14 10:56 AM Bear, I was doing the math and I will hit my goal by the end of this week. To be fair, I think I need to up my goal to 700 miles for the month. Between what I have and what I am scheduled to do through the end of the month this number will push me to go longer at the end of every ride. Thanks, Mike

No, your goal needs to stay the same.  If you over achieve, that's great. That is what this challenge is all about.  If we all adjusted our goals, we'd probably lose the challenge.

Just keep on riding!

A line of thunderstorms blew through yesterday afternoon, and I almost wussed out and called the sag wagon to come get me. The thought of all those Gloating Goddesses put starch in my spine, and I waited 'til the storms passed and rode on home. The weather for the rest of the week should be clear, and my dear wife has agreed to shuttle the kids to camp in the mornings, so I will be able to ride every day.

Well, after tonight's ride, I'm at 200/500.  Not too worried since all of that riding has been since the 5th, and I've got a couple long rides this weekend, but I do have a race coming up the weekend after.  It's gonna be close, but I *should* make it okay, if I get some good rides in during the week after my race.

Keep riding 'bones!

This is so fun, another 19.8 this evening. That makes 227/350 and I feel stronger every ride. I am probably neglecting my swim and run but I am already slow at them. Let go guys!!!!

Yeah!  Pinked another 42 miles today, puts me at 155/360.  The gear chicka's are posting some big numbers, so we've gotta blow through our goals!

Ride on, Bones.

I should be right on track.  I did some math last night and if I get in the miles I think I will this weekend...my goal will be met without a problem!

I'm up at o'dark early right now in order to fit my bike ride into my schedule today.  I love the fact that I'm competing in an IM, but seriously....this early morning stuff is starting to drain on me....I just can't get to bed early enough.

Man, I hate when life just gets in the way of my plans....damn.

C,mon guys, lets make a huge push this weekend.  Get on your bike every day you can, even a 30m ride will help out in the end.  Its all about the percentages!

Ride lots!

I'll do my best to hit the goal, but riding may be curtailed a bit for me.

Chris, heal up quickly. I pinked a quick 10 miles after my run this evening.  Those gear chicka's are looking awfully small back there...I can barely see them anymore.

I was gonna take the day off of the bike since I am racing Saturday, but my wife wanted to ride so I obliged. I hope the Goddesses don't get mad at my wife. I am at 248/350 or 70% home. This weekend will be light because of a short race but I hope to be done by next Saturday. If I go over does it help the team?
