You missed a bunch of cake in a cup recipes yesterday.  Monica is now a legal, job hunting 'Murican.

Lisa was snowed in like 3 times, but dug out in time for a race. Tony, Brad, and Cord talked a lot of smack.  I continue to make as little sense as possible at all times.  Kate had to discipline a FNG for posting a pic. Yantilicious is racing IMNZ tomorrow.

Not sure what else.

Thanks BFF, Hi Troy and great news M.

Hi Cheri - good to hear that things are going well!  It looks like we might have to throw a TAN get together later in the year when everyone comes to town for the marathon.

whoa, who else is runnin??

I thought Lisa was going to be here to cheer on her BIL and sister?   And I'm pretty sure Whizzz and Core will be around to see another BT friend (Lazymarathoner aka Kristen) and other awesome people I'm sure will be around.  And of course, there's Tony, me and Cheri!

I like being the caboose(sp).  I should urban dictionary this for safety purposes!

HMMMM Chicago, October, 4 months after Grandma's Marathon....

Chicago marathon is Sunday October 13, 2013.

I won't be running as I'll (hopefully) be signed up for B2B - but I'll definitely be there cheering on all the other crazies!

I've got a HM the week before it. If they had a HM I'd have been up for that, but I don't think I could handle a full mary the week after a HM unless I treated it as a taper/training run.  Pretty much zero chance of getting in now, anyway.

For the remaining 15,000 spots they're going to a lottery system.

Such a clusterf**k with registration this year!

Don't confuse me with a runner!  I'm not going to run it.  Just rub the bodies of those who do (if so allowed).

The brewing is a kick!  My first honey brew is tasty!  On a side note, I think I found my SECOND all time favorite beer the other day.  It's a strong abby ale called Brother Thelonious.  It's 9.4% alcohol and taste like nectar of the gods.  I want to make a clone if I can.

(don't ask me for my first favorite.  I don't remember the name and I think it's discontinued.  It had the essence of almond/amaretto in it and was wonderful)

Queue the black smoke. I thought that was the reason for your Italy trip. Guess you'll be drinking Chianti and San Pelegrino and not the blood of our savior and holy water.

Good luck, from my memory there were very few places you'd be able to plunk down a lawn chair and cooler as a spectator! So many peoples.

We need to fix that.  By the way, I got a copy of the 31 March Wine Spectator.  They have a great article on Beaurdoux and even a left bank list.  I saw it and for some reason had to smile, then gasp at the other number next to the wine score.

You're right.  I might have to forgo the lawnchair..  I am kind of lucky that my front door is right on the course.  Last year, I needed to ditch some clothes and grab some gels.  Our doorman had a setup going residents could use as a swap-station.  Was super-cool!
