ATXtri - 2008-11-04 4:25 PM Nothing is the haps, kido. what about you??? I'm ready to go home and camp out in front of CNN.

Me too.  I'm done with work today.

I wish it was cold outside and I could go home and turn on my space heater and eat soup. Weird, i know.

Not at all.  I have a space heater in my bathroom because it's always really cold in the morning.  I love it.

I like to lay next to mine on the living room floor with my furry blanket.

I think I might try to beat the rush to the polls by leaving 30 min early.  Then sit in front of the TV all night.  My training is done for the day...  woot!

For fast food, the Jack in the Box Asian chicken salad is pretty freak'n good.  And pretty healthy if you take it easy with the dressing...

Uno's has a fantastic asian chicken salad, too. It's on their 'under 600 calorie' menu.

I don't think we have one of those here, which is odd...  We have just about everything else.

Ooh Kido!
I ate McDonalds for the first time in YEARS on Sunday.
Then promptly threw it up. But to be fair, I was throwing everything up.
I thought of you.

You're not missing much. It's sub-par chain restaurant food and at every single Uno's I've ever been to, the service has been TERRIBLE. And I'm not usually picky or snobby when it comes to service at crappy chain restaurants.

One of my little dogs has an ear infection.  The dr. cleaned it, and now we have to keep up the treatments.  But it's so sore, that he yelps when you mess with it.  I feel terrible that I have to force treatment on him when it hurts him so much....

When I'm done, he retreats under the bed or coffee table for hours and looks at me with fear in his eyes, like I did it on purpose...

That makes me sad.

Aw, poor little guy. It sucks that you can't explain to them that you aren't hurting them. Just make sure you give him a treat afterwards - then he has a positive reward to associate with it, and that might help. And lots of snuggles. Dogs aren't humans, but they understand the basics.

FWIW, our old dog HATED getting his toenails clipped - he was 90 lbs, and both my parents had to hold him down while one fed him bits of ham and the other clipped his toenails. He still loved us

Why?  I hate McDonalds.  Unless the throwing up and Mcdonalds was the connection.

I like taco bell and Jack in the box, or In and Out burger,  maybe 3 times a month total.  That's about it.

Why where you hurling?

I know - I don't understand the craze of the Chicago style pizza, or the craze of that chain.  However, I do realize there are some people that love it.  So if people love it, one opens up here.  Like Nathon's hot dogs, etc...

OOOORRRRR, am I thinking of the wrong Uno's?

In college I used to looooove me some McD's while hungover. For some reason the grease helped. It sounded good at the time because I was HONGRY.

Massive hangover from Halloween partying.

I was just thinkin' about our fast food conversation last week and how I said I rarely ate it. But I craved it Sunday... weird.
