Hello team. Taking a break from grandkids. Not really. Owen (4 months) is right next to me. I've gotten half my running sessions in this month. Wish I could count running after airplanes at the park. LOL

 

blujay65 - 2009-04-17 8:30 AM I am looking forward to this race tomorrow, but am a bit concerned about the weather on the coast; some big storms are predicted to come our way. I may bail if it gets bad out. Since this a fun 'side' race (not one of the bigger ones I was planing for) I will not be concerned if it gets canceled. If that's the case, weather permitting, my goal will be to do the race myself here at home or a long run, which is probably more of what I should be doing anyway! I can even make up my own goodie bag and a fake medal!

ceilidh - 2009-04-16 8:03 PM Dragon boat practice was very fun. It was perfect on the lake. The women on the team are not athletes but they are fun and dedicated and NOT divas. The temp was perfect, the water fairly calm with just a tiny breeze. Perfect spring day. oh and we DIDNT tip over.. and osme lovely mojito tasting afterwards. Just what the doctor ordered and....

I've got a 5k race tomorrow and the weather should be perfect. Sunday's gonna be cloudy but it will also be warm and with little wind so I will take the tri bike out for another ride; I gotta figure out if I'll use it for my first tri.
