For some reason - maybe she hit start too soon- it gave her over 2 hrs for the swim, but other than that, I think it is right; which means by the time you read this she will probably be done!

I think that she started it when she was setting up transition.  She said that she was using it for the bike and run only.

Ok yesterday meltdown couldn't even get on the bike felt so dumb and frustrated. Told Andrew to forget Sundays ride via text he immediately called me and said unless its peeing with rain we are riding. Gave him my address so I couldn't back out. Walked the dog cleared my mind came back and me and Artemis ride up and down the garden felt better but still very wary. Saturday night got to see Bruce Springsteen play a three hour set with no breaks at the infamous Hanging Rock. The man is still the Bosshuge respect he even played Because the Night plus heaps of oldies. It was amazing I'm still deaf! Crowd surfing Bruce so cute and that azz is as tight as ever!! Not much sleep worrying about the ride. Prayed for rain. Headed out along the footpath on my own for half hour very successful stopping and starting! And here he is Andrew he says come on into the road. I did and we were soon on a Main Street then Beach Rd my nemesis. It started to pour down so we headed back maybe only did ten km but I did it and I felt safe and I enjoyed it and I will go again. Sigh I love my Andrew piglet!!!

I'm guessing that the bike didn't end up in the bay, but do you still get to go shopping for a new one?

So after 3 weeks of work being insane it should finally get back to normal next week so I will be able to get back into training. Know have 8weeks until the 12km race that I have entered and 21 weeks until the HM that I want to do.

I am ok with running/walking the 12km but I really want to be able to run the majority of the HM. Can anyone suggest a good training plan? I have looked at the Jeff Galloway one (I am part way through one of his books) and I just don't really like the plan, I don't know why I just don't. I have checked out a few plans on the web but I have noticed that most of them have the longest long run as 12 miles. Why is that when the HM is 13? My thinking is that surely the longest run of your training plan should be at least equal to the race distance so that you know that you can finish it (this is especially my thinking when I have read in a couple of places that you normally hit "the wall" at the distance of your longest run).

I would love to hear your thoughts.
