I double clicked.  Above is the results through last week.  We are hanging right in there!  Lets keep banging the yards out and grab this thing at the end - when it counts!

I hear ya Blizzards...only 2000 yards left for me, and that's tomorrow, cuz this girl is shutting down to fatten up at Christmas.

Thanks for the inspires guys! With life as of late, all I'm doing is getting in the pool for this challenge, which is better than nothing! I'm bummed I'm not more invovled with inspires, but maybe I'll make it today!

Ditto the inspires -- thanks for them and sorry I haven't been very good at reciprocating!

I think I'm pretty well on track to make my goal... and this will be the most swimming I've done all year!  And I think my Christmas gift to myself might very well be a session with a swimming coach.

Got in another 1500 today at master swim. Instructor wasn't too helpful in getting me to my goal with kicking drills and sculling it is hard to get in the yardage in the allotted time. (Sleeping late and missing the first 10 min. of class didn't help either). Adding insult to injury my instructor told me I have floppy wrists. But it was all worth it! Go Blizzards!

So have I been omitted from this or do I gotta go float around and do some kick drills to keep up as much of my end o the bargain as possible?

I'm going for distance . . .
I'm going for speed . . .

I'm all alone in the pool . . . God bless me!

Off to the WAC to hit some waves Hoping to crank 2000 with todays workout. Less than 10 days for 2500 - will be done. Can I hit 30000? We shall see.

Under 100 days left for training for me - IMCA 70.3!

I GOT HIGH!!!!!

2000 done and 500 to go. (19500 of 20000)

Also, set my personal HIGH for a month for total yards. I am becoming a sea turtle. Quicker in water than on land!

TRIDDS way to get close to your goal.  Knock it off next week and build onto better things in  the months to come.

I am right on track to where I "planned" to be right now.  Just have to fit my schedule into the pool availability next week - easier said than done, it is closed 4 of the next 9 days.

A little early Christmas present for me & team Blizzard. My planned 1500yds tonight turned into 2000 yards. I'm at 10,750 out of 12,000 goal. Looks like I'm going to make it!

Good job everyone!  I think I'm one 2200 yard swim away from my goal, which may come today, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday.

I hit my goal and closed out the month today!  11250 total so far, looks like the biggest month I have ever had in the pool.  I think I am going to try to add an additional 5-6K to see if I can't hit 88K for the year.

Good job team!  Keep those fins on.

Another gift for me!

3050 yards consecutive - another best. I should have warmed up a little and cooled off more. But just had to get to the festivities - church and party!

So I have flown past the goal of 20000 and hit 22550! I would like to thank the little people, but most of all my sore knee for forcing me to compensate in training and living the life of a turtle!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Merry Christmas, Blizzards!

I'm at 7150/8000 ... and I'll get that last little itty swim in sometime this week without a problem.  And that'll be 8000 more meters than I otherwise would have done!!  Thanks, everyone, for the encouragement!

GO BLIZZARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've attached last weeks totals.  Please double check yours to make sure the old bald guy hadn't made any mistakes (it's early, I'm swamped at work, and I haven't had any coffee yet )  We havea good portion of the team that has finished up already   Let's keep encouraging those who have and blow this thing away!

Uh, is it my imagination or does it seem like we have a lot of people around the 50% mark?  There's going to have to be a lot of swimming in the next few days for us to come out of this on top!

I had a horrible third week and have some make up to do but I'm within striking distance.  I see a lot of chlorinated water in my near future.

Congrats to those who have already finished!

Got in the kid-filled pool this morn. I forgot it was still break or I would have swam later in the day but anyway all the thrashing about made the pool feel like an OWS
I did 1500 yds that brings my total to 13,400 and that is over my goal. I am still scheduled to swim one more day this week. Thanks to all of you for your inspires and it really has kept me going, knowing I didn't want to let anyone down. The shoulder is still a little tender but Ok.
Every one have a great rest of the week.

I don't think i am going to quite get there. Seriously, wasn't Dec. 1st just yesterday? Last month you couldn't get me out of the pool, guess this month it wasn't as appealing.

I may not hit goal, but I promise to make up some major yards this week!
