I am at 214 miles for 2014. Finally feeling better but do have to have a sinus surgery the end of March so will have to take a few days off AGAIN. Yikes. Regardless, I plan to hit 100 miles again for the month of March!

By my calculations, he's at 167.14

230 miles so far. Did 20 today, very happy to hit that mileage.

Ready for some spring weather! Temp dropped 20 degrees in one hour during our run.

I'm at 342 miles as of yesterday.  We had to endure another weekend of bitter cold winds and snow followed by rain and slush.  I really need Spring sunshine and warmth.

61 for February, 134 for the year so far.  That pace isn't enough but my volume starts to jump starting next week.

Crossed the 300 mile mark today

303.34mi equates to 4.67mi / day

I am starting to wonder if I could hit 1700 - 2000 miles this year..... I do have that ultra coming up in September.  Plan on almost exclusively running this year.

I haven't come here in a while because I've been so ashamed of my mileage for the year. But I should have been coming here because everyone is so inspiring. WTG!!!

I'm at 137.4. Discouraging since that was about my monthly mileage for most of last year. I always run less during the cold months and then when son's baseball starts up, I really get behind until I can get my schedule adjusted. Yes, excuses, excuses and none of them are good.

Today did a different race. Every year, we have the Red Hills Horse Trials which is an international event. This year was the first year that we had an official race running the course. 2.2 miles and 24 obstacles which the horses jump. It was so much fun. Two times, we entered the water and did some additional obstacles in the water. My son, who never trains and never runs, finished 6th and looked like a beautiful gazelle (or thoroughbred) jumping the obstacles. I looked like a sea lion rolling over them.

new longest run today, and it added up to 184.4 miles so far this year- only a little bit behind the bunny! My numbers have him at 186.32. I'm almost caught up to him!

As of this weekend I've hit 207.45 for the year. I guess that means I'm actually still on track for the year! Spent two weeks out sick (no workouts at all, which was discouraging), so it feels good to be back.

That is insane, you are an inspiration!  I had a great weekend with a 10 miler on Saturday, and a 15 miler on Sunday.  Legs felt pretty good for a 4 mile today.  Pushed my total to 337.72.

Hi everyone. Just found out about this challenge and it sounds like a fun one to achieve.

Since I am training for 2 marathons and a HIM this year I felt this might be a good challenge to take on.

As of today I am at 147 miles.

Hopefully we are done with the snow! I was able to run outside this week without looking like an Eskimo, I was so excited! It looks like every one continues to make progress which is great, I am currently sitting around 266 miles for the year. Slightly off pace (from my goal) but still moving so that is a good thing!

I'm at 205 miles which is right on track for 1000 for the year. My ankle became sore last weekend (for no apparent reason) so I didn't run at all from Monday to Thursday this week. Fortunately I had a logged a few extra miles and this didn't put me behind. I ran yesterday and rode the bike trainer today. My ankle is still a little tender but I think it's on the mend.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
