I am at 1619 with three days left, will probably add another ten. I have enjoyed this challenge and seeing everyone progress through it.

Way to crush 1000 miles!

I'm sitting at 1414 miles, 2 days left!  Crushed my goal of 1200.  I am also at 188 miles for December.  I have never ran a 200 mile month before - I am planning on a 13.1 training run tomorrow so I should see it!  I am very pleased with this year considering I took about 5 weeks off after I was sick with meningitis.

Had seen this quite a while back, but didn't think I would even make 500 this year. Rediscovered wanting to run again later in August and built up quite a bit to pass 1,000 a couple days ago. The goal was never actually to make it to 1,000, but rather (re)establishing a solid run program with a consistently strong number of miles each week with a variety of run types as seen fit for development. The 1k was still a nice milestone.

That is pretty amazing. Not sure I have 3K a year in me anymore. I did make my 2000 mile mark (barely). After today's run sit at 2001 miles. I jumped in in August at 1100 miles and accepted the challenge to hit 2000. I wasn't sure I would make it because I assumed that after running my second Mary (BQ'd and 1st AG--yipee) that I would cut back drastically on my running. But, turned out not to be the case.

Anyway, congrats to everyone who reached their goal and who made the effort. Cheers to the year gone by and the year to come.

Congrats to all who made their goals!  I fell short of my revised goal of 750 miles due to illness over the last few days.  I hit 739 with my run this morning.  I beat my last year's total by 75km though, so I am totally happy.  My swim and bike totals were well up as well, so can't beat that!  Happy New Year to all, hope to see you in the 2015 Challenge!

Wow, this group is incredible. 1K, 1500, 2K, 3K!!!! Great job. And great job to Kirsten too because having all of your S/B/R totals up is amazing!

Didn't beat my mileage from last year but I ended with 1131. I'll take it.

Hope everyone has an awesome 2015! See you all for next year's challenge(s).

Finished up the year with a moderate 10 miler from my house to the in-laws to watch the Boise State Broncos win another awesome Fiesta bowl

Had a great year of running. My times have been dropping all year, and I think I will have a legitimate chance to Boston qualify in 2015. That 10 mile moderate run was as fast as a full out 12k race back in January. I have to shave a minute per mile off my last ( and first ) marathon time to BQ, but it looks like that is not unreasonable based upon n my current training times. My top end is there, now I just need the endurance at that speed.

Finished the year at 1415. Not too shabby for my first full year running. Great challenge, looking forward to 2015!

I finished the year with 1141 miles, below my target but still considered a successful year. Thank you to everyone for the encouragement and motivation throughout the year!

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
