Tonight we are throwing a party for a bunch of our friends and having a game night. I know it sounds pretty lame, but I am actually looking forward to it. We are throwing the XBOX Dance 2014 game on a projection screen and seeing who has the moves. Should be hilarious if everyone participates!

Too early to mentally go into weekend mode ? Here no. Tonight dismantling a table and bringing it to a friends house that wants to borrow it for a party. Not exactly the stuff dream weekends are made of but whatever. Supposed to rain all weekend so probably indoor bike ride and watch some episodes of Breaking Bad tomorrow morning followed by younger daughter's basketball game. She was just voted co captain. I take full credit for teaching her everything she knows. Maybe going to see American Hustle tomorrow night. Sunday depends on the weather. If raining, no run -> More indoor bike + more Breaking Bad. Grocery shopping. Siesta. Check out Olympic happenings. Less than 2 hours to kick off....

We always bust out Rock Band at the later half of a party.  It's so much fun.  I would love to have friend who liked to game.  I have tons and some company would be cool.

Sadly my RockBand guitar is in need of replacement, tried to do some self repair on it but the strum bar is missing random notes. Even more sadly, the market for them is minimal at best. Haven't played it in over a year now

I would like to announce an online wake for my manhood.

As I go for my consult to get my boys from the lower region chopped.

I am not sure if it is appropriate to ask the doctor for a drink or dinner before hand to gain some base?

Looking for feed back. Is it like Cedar point can you ask for it to be filmed with play back or a snap shot when you are done?

ok ok reality is I am terrified. And I feel a quote from a slap chop commercial coming on.

It was about that time that I had to leave the room to give you two a moment...

I'm either wine/whiskey/tequila/vodka based drinks, but sadly tequila = Tony on the floor in the bathroom cuddling the porcelain.

My ex had it done years ago, and because there is ONE doctor in Vancouver that does the procedure, he said it felt like he was getting an oil change at the Jiffy Lube.

A day with a bag of frozen peas on the nether region & walking a little funny, then the waiting time until "pulling the trigger" again, and afterwards all systems were go... except the system was shooting blanks.

The TAN response: shave everything in the area, close your eyes when they point that Oh my god sized syringe at your stuff. You will feel like you got kicked twice for 2-3 days, then when the hair grows back it starts to itch, your going to scratch but don't cause it will feel like you just kicked yourself. Once you can stand-up you have to walk bull legged but don't move too fast lest they swing and sway (see kicking yourself above) Other than that you will be fine.

Reality: you will be fine. Its a 10-15 min procedure, a bit awkward having your stuff on display for the Dr and assistant but just remember your there for a reason and they are professional. The prep you, numb up the site and your done. It does feel like you got kicked for a day or so but not too bad. Keep the ice on as directed and enjoy a day on the sofa. I was mowing the lawn the next day a little sore but fine. Funny part was when the Dr gave the follow up instructions before you come in for a count, "get 20 or 200 what ever you can get away with, help with its up to you" He did say no "pizza" cause there are still some live buggers and the bouncing my not feel all that great.

Productive day, which make me feel accomplished.  However, it started off odd.  I got a call yesterday confirming my 7:30am dentist appointment.  Got there and the office is locked and dark.  I searched around/waited for 10 minutes and then called them and they said they don't open until 9am?  ALSO, I have been there at 7:30am before.

I'm wondering if they wanted me to call back and confirm?  So, the big question is.  If I miss an appointment, I own them 25 bucks.  Me thinks they should take $25 bucks off my next bill since I showed up and THEY were closed, no?

Side note.  One of the things I love about the weekends is the coffee!  I make all kinds of fun variations at home to enjoy.  Not enough time on weekdays except a quick Keurig brew for the road.

Weird Kido. They should have specified if they required a call-back, otherwise a confirmation phone call is like an "FYI" to me, no action required. That kind of thing drives me BATTY --- incorrect hours posted or professionals not showing up for things. I have very little patience for that kind of thing. Have you called them to see what the deal was?

I had a productive day also. A guy I have been chasing for stealing tvs and going out the fire exit was seen today as I was roaming the store. Once it was confirmed, I called my pals in blue and they sat and waited for him to exit the fire exit where they greeted him! The guy was so surprised by this that he "tripped" and fell and scratch up his head! But do not worry, although it has been very cold here, this dude is going to be provided 3 hots and a cot for the time being!

I love it when a plan comes together!

Great job!!!  I wish I could figure out what employee is too cheap or too lazy to make his/her own food to take to work and is stealing everyone else's food.  I hate people who steal.  I have offered to buy the person lunch, just so it stops.

Well, just jumped back into TAN and this reminded me to call again.  Left a basic WTF message this morning around 10.  Called again just now and no answer.  Weird.

If I can make it happen, my arse is leaving early today.  Lots of hours this week.  I could have taken the day off completely and still get my 40.

I feel your anxiety. My wife is trying to talk me into getting fixed, I on the other hand, think she should do it. Internet searches for side affects are a bad idea.

you realize for a woman it is an actual surgery, and not a simple doctor office procedure?

When my wife and I researched it, we found it was a lot safer for me to have the procedure done than to have her do it. Like Meh said with a woman its an operation and for a guy it's an in and out quicky. I was back to myself after two weeks.

Yep. I know some women who have elected to have it done as an addition to an already-scheduled surgery. They were already "in there" so did it all at the same time. Otherwise, it doesn't seem worth the risk since it's so simple for the guy..
