Phil - Race wheels.... Doooo eeeeeett!!

p.s.  I have no clue why your post on that showed up in my news feed, but holy smokes, those are some good deals!   TBT hadn't actually launched their wheel rentals the last time I looked at them.  It's nice to see that they are really doing it affordably.

I'm actually thinking about the used wheel purchases for the future.  Getting a Zipp 900 disc for cheaps would be awesome.

Oooh. I admit I am sensitive today but that's not funneh to me

My co-worker who got laid off, moving our staff from 3 people to 2 people, is battling her 2nd round of cancer. Not sure there are many funnies to make about that situation. Sorry to be Debbie Downer.

Race wheels are sexxeh.  I wish I could outfit my bike with some 50mm deep rims for all my rides.  They just make a bike look sharp.  But alas, just save my HED3's for racing.

I wonder if I will get to the point of selling stuff like that since I don't train anymore.

I went to lunch and bought a tie for $90 that I don't need. I never wear ties, but had to have this one. JUST HAD TO!

Teej assures me I shall be able to wear it for all the occasions.

It was on sale, half off. The price tag said $90. So I thought it was $45. So I bought it, and it rang up at $90. I said `I thought it was half off.' And she said `Yeah, half off $180, the original price.' At that point, I had no choice but to buy it.

It probably was supposed to be half off the $90 but they wanted to see if they could get anyone to pay full price for it......

Or Kohls? If you pay over $12 for anything in Kohls, you paid too much.

Tony just want's to be all fancy-schmancy but we all know that Monica's gonna beat him tonight for spending $90 on a tie.

I don't shop. Annie does.

I have a faltering sense of fashion and/or coordination.

I tell Annie....I need some Polo's. She comes home with some. All different colors and patterns. She says it'll look good on me, I trust her.

Hey Annie....I need some shorts. Boom....they're there.

Jeans, belts, whatever.....

I loathe malls and shopping centers. It's worked out well for our marriage when I DON'T go with her.

I made a $600 faux pas.  Sort of.

I decided to rebuild my old golf clubs instead of buying new ones.  It was going to save me several hundred dollars doing so.  Well, got them back, happy with them, BUT the new clubs I was considering went on sale for just as much as the rebuild...

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  I bought them after all.

The $90 tie reminded me of this other dumb-arse purchase I need to take responsibility for.
