Well, she fell asleep on my lap. I had to eat over her head, dangerously left-hand, and found a show called Castle Hunters. How cool to have a "house" with arrow loops and murder holes. Hehe

So last night Phil put an end to the near week of torture and unpacked his bags while I was out at a work meeting.

He is such a sweety (dont tell him I said that Yanti) as well as some new Brooks he brought home a high vis winter running top and pants "so that I can run outside at sunrise and sunset when the days start to get darker and colder." (I am not allowed to run or ride outside in the dark because it isn't safe).

He also got me a copy of Unbroken, which I am going to start reading this weekend while I recover from the nasty head cold he has shared with me.

Yay! Surprises (of the good kind) from SOs are always so fun. And it makes it easier to forgive him for the cold

My boss, the CFO of our physician network, is starting to get into tris! It's his challenge this year he says.  So he's asking me bike questions and swim questions.  I recommended he meet up with this local tri coach who gives swimming lessons.  He's starting from scratch (though probably drown-proof), but I'm telling him that in a couple months struggling to swim 300y will be a distant memory.

We're set to do the May 10 race I have on my calendar.  Looking forward to being there for his first race! (And of course getting back to racing myself).

The sword show as in forge, hammer, anvil? Oh what time? What network. I have recently gotten the urge to add a new hobby and its hot, dirty and includes pounding iron into submission. (yeah I am a Viking)

Dearest Manatees,

So sorry that the SMMMMMMMMMMMC Statistician sleepily skipped scanning scores.  Final flurry of finishing findings to be forthcoming on Faturday.

Love to all. ~~m

Thanks Chris.  It took me a week to get that out of my head last time I heard it.  I guess everything is going to be awesome today.

As someone who has had the "opportunity" to spend a lot of time in PT the past several months, I resemble this remark

http://running.competitor.com/2015/01/out-there/out-there-the-rehab-room_121912

"It’s as if our last names (and identities) have been replaced by our injuries. In a way, they have. Jenny ACL has been a runner since she was 11 years old. Tom IT Band..."

Hi, I'm Janyne Dislocated Shoulder, 18 weeks post op tomorrow...  This is Hands Rotator Cuff and over there is Mary HipsBicep-Hip-Knee.

LOL!

Adrienne Bilateral Nasal Fracture,  Deviated Septum (still deviated) Double A Incisor break (still broken) nerve damage eye scar.

Fixed that for you.  Still, that's pretty funny.  At my PT clinic, I don't know any of the other patients but I've worked with 3 of the therapists.  Kelly and I have been "together" through her engagement, marriage, and birth of a baby.  She knows DH and all about the fur kids, and I know about her 3 kids and husband.  I guess it's good to have somebody I know and trust, but really, I'd rather not!!

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
