Very nice Suzy, looks cool.  Can't wait to see it put together.

Interesting there is no rear-wheel cutout on it.  I wonder if the smaller geometry wouldn't let them do that.

Trina,

yeah there are few things you "must" have.  If you can get some clip on bars, by all means do.  But remember they do make the bike more difficult to handle.

I used clip-ons for the first year on my road bike and it worked out pretty well.

Suzy -- Absolutley B-E-A-U-tiful!  I'm excited to see how it comes together, it's been a long time in the waiting!

Trina, I also used clip-on aerobars (on my road bike) for my first year.

Trevor!  M'Man!   AWESOME!!!!

Suzy... ABOUT FRIKIN' TIME!!!!  LOVE IT!!

just in from swim lesson getting taped.  lol.  by far i learned the most in the shortest period of time.  its really amazing to see myself in the water and even more amazing to discuss with coach what we saw, how to correct it and immediately correct it.  also endless pools are pretty cool.   i should get the vids tomorrow.  will post em so at least you guys can get a good laugh.

Take notes?? What am I, your secretary?  j/k  I'll make an attempt, but I'm at work tonight.  Wish I had a way to record streaming audio.  They usually post the audio for later listening... usually.  BUT, since I know the importance of nutrition AND the importance of your new hooptie, I'll take some notes.

Ohhhhhh! Nice I love Red too!
What size is it? Do you put 650C wheels on it? Are you building it or having it built?

Trina, Re: your required list...my wife rides in her running shoes and loves it.  Is almost offended when I suggest she get some riding shoes.  Her T2 in her first tri was something like 41 seconds.
And a transition pack...I stole my son's back pack for the day.

Virtual tri - how about average time rather than total time.  I'll participate, but may not be able to get all three events in.  If we use average then having an individual miss an event won't mess everything up.

Suzy, that frame is SWEEEEET!!!!!  Does it come with a hook to hang on a Christmas tree?  Or will you have to bend your own paper clip?  Wink
Based on the base molding behind it the seat tube can't be more than 14-15 inches tall.

My turn to rant...
I had a mole removed from my lower back on Dec 29.  While the stitches were in I've been strength training and riding. Today I got the stitches out.  As I was setting my heater up in the garage before strength training I feel like I get shot in the back.  The incision tears open and blood is everywhere.  Doc doesn't want to re-stitch so now I have steri-strips and glue.  Can't do anything for a couple days.  Biggest problem...shoots my "31 workouts in January" plan.
I get a medically induced two day's rest Cry
Rant off...

SSMinnow - 2010-01-06 1:35 PM I understand your quandry. How bad do you feel?  are we talking TM our outside?  I usually push myself and do the run or bike, but I believe it does take a bit of a toll on your immune system and could make the cold hang around longer.

By the way I am not a fan of HTFU very often....especially when it comes to potential injury or illness. I reserve that for people who Reno8 when he complains about workouts for no good reason!

You are welcome....

TrevorC - 2010-01-06 2:54 PM So i had a 1000m time trial today. Did a few 100m warm up and then 1000m HARD!!

I was looking at my logs from last year when I first got into training for my 1st tri. Last year I could knock off 1000m in anywhere from 22-25 minutes, and hitting pretty much 20 minutes by the summer season.

I swam it today in 18:50. Super pumped. I can't wait for the summer now!

Great job.  That is a super improvement.

Doug--Love it!  Are those 60cc wheels?   Should have it fully dressed out in early February for the official unveiling.  Still working on a few pieces.  I have no idea what size it is since it is custom....extra small????

The day keeps getting better.  My friend Bob made it through brain surgery and while he is still in ICU he is eating, walking and even putting on his own pants (don't ask me why I know that).

Tomorrow I am doing another run 2'/walk 2'x5...followed by a swimming lesson with Coach Steve (assuming he doesn't get stuck in the snowstorm!)

I know that 12 oz is not much, but curls are still technically working out.  If you are an overachiever, you could go straight to the 40oz curls...  You would probably need to lower reps a bit though...
