mchally - 2008-11-05 8:11 AM Any breakfast suggestions?

pancakes sound good this morning.

I have never been a "pancake" fan. Not even as a kid. I just think they are too - I don't know - doughey.

I'd rather have an omelette. Waffles are alright, 'cause they are crisper - does that make sense?

In high school I worked at a family restaurant... mainly on the weekends, but in the summers, nearly every day.  When I began, I would eat several buttermilk pancakes for my break meal... after a while I couldn't get them past my nose...

That was over twenty years ago... I CAN eat them now, but often choose not to.

Maybe if I could just eat all of the above...make sure that there are lots of mushrooms in the omelette.

Yes - must have mushrooms on the omelette.

about 12 crepes and a couple of german pancakes wouldn't hurt either.  and real whipped cream is a must.

If I am going to upset my gluten/lactose intolerant gut I might as well go all out.

Yes... not a fan of pancakes either... but I really don't enjoy most bread/cake forms so I might not be the best source.

I think that is some of it with me, too.  I am not a huge bread fan (like the band, but I am talking food).  My wife and kids love bread, but if I have one piece with a meal, I get very full and all bloated feeling.

BTW - STFU Crowny.Cool

Heh!

Makes sense.  I don't really like pancakes either, but I do like waffles.  Omelettes are probably my favorite.
