BTW, love the swim class.  It's weird though.  55 minutes to barely get in 1500 meters?  HOWEVER, mixing up the drills and resting with hard efforts, still makes it feel like a thorough workout.  OTOH, an hour is a little long sometimes and there could be times I want to get my 2k meters in under 40 minutes and get out of there.

Reading that made me cold... but this is an indoor pool, right?

1500m in 55 minutes is SLOW, but if you're working on technique, it sounds about right...

Yesterday it was a sunny and warm 85* when I played beach volleyball during lunch, Wednesday was around 80* when I went swimming at my gym's outdoor pool. Yes, I am in the northern hemisphere and it's supposed to bewinter... as nice as the weather is I wish it was cold and wet. If we don't get any rain a couple of the lakes may be too low to host triathlons later this year

Headed to LA for the weekend, where it'll be warmer there than in Tucson. Weird!

I hope you guys get the rain you need!

Yeah, it's all technique.  We haven't just "swam" at all yet other than warm up AND it's an indoor pool that's pretty warm.  I was just talking about that with a coworker.  The water is cool, but you can jump in without yelling "mutha effa!" in you head.  Not bath water, but low 80's.

I estimated it at 1500 meters, but don't keep track.  It's a lot of 25 yards, talk, 25, talk, down and back, talk, etc...

I'm sort of excited though.  I might have a decent swimmer somewhere deep inside.  I was already pretty good as far as triathletes go being basically self taught.  Already they are working some bad habits out and I'm see improvement.  I swam a 100 under 1:20 and I'm not even in shape.  I wasn't much faster than that when I was in my best swimming shape before some of my races.

Dang, dude. sub-1:20 out of shape is pretty good!

I have yet another FB friend who is going baby nuts.  All baby pics, all the time.  They expanded to video now.  Video of them sleeping, crawling, standing (with help).

I seriously think I hate babies now...  Well, not babies - baby mommas.  They don't CHOSE to be exploited...

I hide those people from my news feed. Or unfriend them.

I don't want to see your borderline trashy pregnancy photos, 800 pictures of your child, or 800 pictures of any single subject for that matter.

I get people asking me to post more of my art work as I get it done on my FB page that is dedicated to the art stuff which is currently jewelry stuff, but my personal one, I hardly ever post to.  I use it for groups that I am a part of.

I just checked.  NO, you don't.  You post a lot of different stuff AND the kids are old enough that they actually do something....

The ones I'm talking about are the 20 pics in a row of baby on a blanket, baby in a winter stocking hat, baby with G-ma, baby with G-pa, baby sleeping, baby crying, baby in crib, baby standing (being held up) and NOTHING else.

NOW, it's time to go home, right?  Thank the stars I came in an hour early - now I can go home an hour early...

BUT, something to look forward to - bringing in lunch from Capriatti's.  Vegas' favorite sub place.  They have on called the "Bobby" that is thanksgiving on a bun.  Stuffing, pulled turkey, cranberry sauce.  Carb heavy but SOOOOOO good.

Ahh man I post pictures of my Daughter on Facebook.. She is only 3.5 months old.

Although I don't think I am overboard and well. Almost non of you are on my facebook. So I guess I am not really offending that many people.

But I don't upload a damn picture every day.

And the ones of the kids covered in food. YA NOT FUNNY. My girlfriends older kids get messing eating.. ok her son does it grosses me out and drives me insane. Her daughter is 7 and well that doesn't happen with her.

I don't find a kid covered in spaghetti and sauce to be cute. It makes me want to barf.

Hello everyone, someone, anybody???

Dear diary: Today is the fourth day of a five day weekend for the short people who only stop staring at a screen long enough to eat and ask what else is there to do, can I have a snack, and where is mommy? They have mastered the timing perfectly so I can not even accomplish a simple 30 second task without a question. Somehow they have brought in the neighbor kids and worked them into the rotation of questions and now the floor is covered with drink boxes, and random wrappers of snack products. Suggestions of reading a book, playing a game, or going outside earn a blank stare of confusion.

And now they have found me.

P.S. I would post a Pick of them but I hear that bothers some people.

Check and Check

No desire to be here.

I twisted my damn ankle a week ago in my snowy slippery driveway. I would like to Sue Winter and bring forward summer.

Upside I went swimming for the first time in 7 months on Saturday and I still feel it. I am going back tonight.

Aww now, you can't start being all sensitive-like in TAN..!

The posts I dislike the most on FB are the passive-aggressive, or veiled husband/family shaming posts. Recent examples - this first one REALLY got under my skin.

{photo of husband and son both on separate iPads}
Who needs a mommy or wife when they have their screens?

Wishing husband didn't have to travel all the time. Playing single mom again this week.

Can't sleep AGAIN because of husband's insanely loud snoring.

{after daughter quit gymnastics - MEGA drama}
Trying to keep it together, here. Roughest week I can remember.
