IM training (had to sneak that in there) plus partying makes for a tired Lisac957. VERY low-key weekend. Not much sleep during the week meant that I absolutely CRASHED on the weekend. Drinks with friends on Friday night, tried to do a 3 hour ride on Saturday (which turned into just over 2 hours due to being completely frustrated with the riding trail), got my hair prettified Saturday afternoon, saw a friend at the Lit Fair that was by our house, then Sunday was a late breakfast/brunch before movie day at the theater with Ironman 3 and Fast & Furious 6. |

Because I know how you want something bigger. Originally posted by mr2tony I want one of those dual temp beds from sleep number. Sadly they're like $2,000. Sigh. If they weren't so danged esspensive I'd say we should get one... but maybe a new mattress first? Feeling the springs through the mattress isn't really all that comfy. Nothing that a little upgrading and remodeling won't fix. Oh wait - did you mean with the condo? |

I don't think I can even imagine that one - and I'm pretty sure I've never even seen it on the internet. Something new to add to the collection! I can't believe I hadn't seen this one before. How did I miss such a gem? |

Alpharetta, Georgia | Subject: RE: TAN#200: BicenTANial Bliss! Sounds like a good weekend! I wish mine were more low key. The folks we were hanging with are freaking party guys. Golf pro, his caddy, 5-hour energy execs - there is no down time. Always MANY drinks in - loud - hilarious - exhausting! Party on Saturday night involved tooooo many drinks, dance marathon on a boat, people jumping into the lake fully clothed, a noise complaint, neighbors boating over to join the party, and the hostess (exec at a biz jet company) getting into a huge fight with her boyfriend and crying in the bathroom. GOOD TIMES. Related: cake vodka + diet orange sunkist = orangecicle dream drink. Try it. |

Did you invite the people with the noise complaint to join in? Sometimes that works well, and other times not so much... I was wondering about the cake vodka - will DEFINITELY have to give that a try for the next girls night. :D |

I went to a local Irish Fest on Saturday, where they had a Japanese Hibachi food stand and a couple of guys in kilts covering songs by Bob Marley. There was Guiness everywhere, so it was legit. I bought a kilt.

Must have been a weekend for Irish festivals, I was at one on Sunday. At least the food here was from a local Irish pub with a California twist. One of the bands was self described as "Celtic tribal" from Australia: bag pipes and didgeridoos! |

Apparently there was rib fest up north, but we didn't go. Don't these people have homes? |

Bacon jalapeno was actually quite good......sweet, smoky, salty, and hot.....and cold). Ahhh....the suburban life. Got pretty wasted on Friday night...... |

I do have a pic of the hibachi stand! It was too funny to not get a pic of that. |

Seriously... that sounds like it would have been pretty freaking cool! I'm still not sure what the point is of a didgeridoo. It's a bit like a "c" in Tuson. It's a bit like calling a washing machine with old bearings a musical instrument. |

Seriously... that sounds like it would have been pretty freaking cool! I agree. The popularity of the didgeridoo went south after the critical panning of the little known Bach's 69th Symphony: Concerto for didgeridoo and washboard. |

I had a Roti mediterranean chicken salad for lunch and three hours later I'm still quite gassy - there's NO holding all this in, so do I try and let silent ones go into my chair and hope no one notices, or just let 'em rip? Gotta love not having an office door to be able to close and let loose as needed. |

I get the stupid brochure every time telling me what to do, and I do those things (generally eating more foods with high levels or iron in them) and then it still didn't help. Maybe I should look into taking an iron supplement? |
