I don't know how someone could do that. I wish I wasn't watching it. I'm in tears.  I can't imagine that being my child.  Can I keep E a baby forever, please?

jogo - 2012-12-14 6:16 AM Today is MOVING DAY at work!!!  I am finally moving out of my closet office in the dark, noisy warehouse, into a real office down what I call "doctor's row".  They are giving me a vacated MD's office, complete with my own wood "c" shaped desk, a wipeoff board (yes, I am a total geek and that excites me), and wood grain file cabinets.   WOOT!!!   My jogo workout may be lifting and unpacking today!!

Our  department is getting new furniture and moving to another part of the building in a few weeks. We will be displaced for almost the entire month of January (so I will be working from home.) Talk about great timing for marathon training!

Wow, what a day!

I left the house at 0500 for a... um... "meeting" at work, so I missed masters this morning. While at said "meeting" we were able to catch the news coverage from Connecticut. Unbelievable. Words are ... inadequate ...

On the way home I contemplated how to get a workout/Jogo done. It's cold, the wind is blowing and I'm still feeling the affects of my cold. So I decided to do 30 minutes of yoga. It felt so good to stretch all those muscles that I'm always abusing. aaaaahhhhhh.

Hope you Manatees have a wunnerfull weekend.

P.S. Salty, I've always wondered what kind of families get those matching shirts that I see advertised on tv Laughing

I work with some pretty awesome folks who wanted to give a gift of fun to our patients.  The guy in the green at the beginning is one of our doctors.  It was nice to see the docs out there, even some of them with solos.  This is just a clip.  I wish they would've taped the ending.  It is missing about 1.5 minutes of footage.

Hey - magical birthday day for me!

Started by taking Artemis to triathlon training in the rain and thunder - she loved it and they got an OWS in!

Then I went swimming 2.4km of sprint sets.  Then out for lunch.  Then a trainer ride of 1 hour, then a brick run of 30mins.

LOVE IT!

Manatees please help me know what to do. I have a 2.5 hour bike on the schedule today but I'm still coughing from my cold.

I stayed home from a church event that DH and I do every month so I could sleep longer for more rest. Now up, I'm contemplating my ride. I could do the drainer to avoid the winter air. I don't want to turn this in to bronchitis.

I know BTers talking about training as long as the cold is above the neck but not sure what that means in practice.

Thoughts? I'm so unsure.

Personally, I would stay on the trainer inside, but my lungs, ears, and sinuses  are sensitive because of allergies. I hope you begin to feel better.

Thanks Felicia. That was my thought. Would doing it in the warm air keep it from making things worse?

Don't know if I'm too late on this, but it depends on your cough. If it is mild, you should be ok. If it is rough and persistent you probably shouldn't work out at all.Hope you feel better soon.
