Have fun!!!! 5 days in Vegas. I think I might die. I won't go into any specific details of my Vegas trips ...

Heh heh.  I'll likely be keeping the deets on my trip to myself too....  Do you have snow down there?

Yeah. But it's raining now. Of course the track will be clear for practice tonight. This weather is starting to toughen me up.

Asalzwed - 2012-12-19 10:01 AM BTW all, I signed up for a 3K snowshoe race. I have also never attempted to run in snowshoes. We might have to get this on video.

Ooh, fun.  I have never been snowshoeing, but have always wanted to.

You could come down and join me. Feb 2 at Steven's Pass (that's up north of Seattle on highway 2) I could get you a discount. Smile

OK, Kirsten's snow has me wondering:

How is the weather today where you are? I have 70* and sunny. The top is going down on the Jeep and I am driving home slowly Trail run this afternoon, I hope.

Hmmm.  Lets see how my Achilles shapes up, but that would be awesome!  I could get the video.  Assuming that we have a camera with a super zoom lens, as I will be way behind.  Probably on my behind.  My understanding is that it is not easy...

My weather looks a lot like Salty's!

My niece, the one in remission, wants me to do a Colorado snow-shoe-fondue-thing with her. Some deal she saw on the interwebs. I think it looks like a blast.

bcraht - 2012-12-19 1:46 AM Today's JoGo was brought to you by 5 cm (2 inches to your imperialists) of snow.  I took transit, and it involved a lot of walking.  First I went to my Chiropractor.  Then to my part time work, where I helped out for a couple hours because they were short staffed.  Then to my full time work.  Then to physio, then back to work, then home.  I got in a small fun walk around the lake near my work that the city has lit up for Christmas.  Very cool--pics in my blog.  And now--I am on vacation!  We are supposed to get another dump o' snow tonight Laughing

Enjoy the vacay, how long do you get? Are you going anywhere or doing anything? Whatever it may be, I hope you have a blast!

Well, we are off to Vegas tomorrow for 5 days.  I'll probably go in to work for one day between Christmas and New Years, but otherwise not back til Jan 2.  We got another 3-4 inches of snow overnight and it is still snowing...

Have fun!!!! 5 days in Vegas. I think I might die. I won't go into any specific details of my Vegas trips ...

I've only been to Vegas once and I got my pocket picked. I was not amused. Don't let that happen to you!

The description says: Explore the winter landcape of Colorado's Front Range on snowshoes and enjoy cheese fondue and hot cider in a snow cave...

OK, I apologize. I thought about it as I was driving home that there were gonna be people that werre NOT happy with my weather. I wasn't rubbing it in, I was only wondering. If it is any consolation, we are supposed to get cold in the next few days.

Oh, yeah, one other thing. Thanks, Kirsten, for reminding me why I left Long Island.

Dear Salty,

My socks are red knee highs with white reindeer and snowflakes (think old school ski sweater).  I hope this is acceptable.

Sounds festive! We will need to see photographic evidence that said socks were worn ...
