Just wanted to drop a quick note to let people know I was pulled from the course at mile 80 of the bike.  I was having a great ride and was keeping heart rate in z1-2.  About mile 60 I started barfing and couldn't hold anything down.  Just wanted to rest at the 80 mile aid station and get going.  Weak pulse, and extreme nausea and a few other things ended up getting me pulled from the race.  Got an ambulance ride back to the terrace for 2 bags of fluid.  Was down 14 pounds.  I am completely devastated and will take awhile to get over this one.  Thanks for tracking us.

I am so sorry to hear this.  Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Hang in there!

I'm so sorry but it sounds like the right decision  Safety and health over finishing everytime.  I hope you feel better soon

Thanks for all the kind words.  Physically I feel fine.  Doesn't feel like I even worked out.  Stomache is still revolting but I can live with that.  Mentally I am pretty bad right now.  Sitting about a mile from the finish line watching people finish is not helping.  Whizzzzz just passed by at about mile 12.5.
