Ahh I see that it's based on past logs.

Cool, then I've been a slacker enough that a few days at the begining of the month and the last two weeks should be enough

You know, the events of the last few days have only served to deepen the hunger for victory.  We've been slighted, belittled, and harrassed by those li'l cupcakes who are nipping at our heels.  Their behavior has only served to wet the appetite, victory will taste all the sweeter once this sordid affair is over.  Its "lesson teachin' time".  We have a bunch of cute girls behind us who really don't deserve to win this challenge.  They've shown their true colors.  Now, we could continue toying with them, or we could just say, "hasta la vista, baby" and let'er rip!

I say we put this thing on ice right now.  Get out and ride!  Remember, we're carrying our fallen comrade-in-arms, Mr. Coredump.  We have a challenge to win, but more importantly, a moral victory to achieve.  Time for the "Good Guys" to win!

I like the way you segue between Poor Us! Dude and Macho Dude. Deft handling of the masses. Minion-worthy stuff.

I give it an 8.5. Has a good beat and you can dance to it.

Have not been able to get on the bike for awhile.
Will try and catch up this week if the knee holds out.
Am going to try and get a quick run in tonight to get the legs moving and tuesday should be a nice easy ride.
Keep your fingers crossed.

Another 27 today puts me at 314/350. I should coast in and will pitch in an extra 50 for anyone short some miles.

No coasting,please.

Rode to and after the boys baseball game, nearly 23.5 total, puts me at 328/333 or >98%. Looks like I may top 400 (120%) by Thursday, which is the end of my month.

I'll buy a beer for any 'boner topping that 120% (next time I see ya!)

Plugging away here, 110/200 so far. Have 20 planned for tomorrow, 20 for Th, and shooting for 30-40 on Sunday... so that would put me at 180-190/200 with 4 days left. Should be right on target...

Posted a short, 11 mile ride yesterday.  So I'm 274/360.  Don't put off even those small rides.  They'll add up in the end and will help us crush those sweet, tasty cupcakes.

put in an extra 10m yesterday for a total of 320/500. According to my calculations and if everything goes according to plan, I will make it by the last day with 520m.

Yo, Testosterboners, this is your wake up call.  If you doubted whether we needed to be out riding, let this be your motivation...read on.

It seems as though we're up against a bunch of sandbaggers.  I just read, over on their thread, that one of the cupcakes is at 450 miles on a 250 mile goal.  All that means is that we've got to pound the pavement over the next 9 days.  We'll beat them, and their sandbags, fair and square.

Rock on!

If I get in a ride tomorrow and finish the bike part of my race on Sunday, I should be at 133%

I will take you up on your beer offer

Remember team..

Those of us whos mileage goals are smaller.. WILL have more impact on the outcome when going over our mileage..

It will be much easier for us to tip the scales in a BIG BIG way.. so get out there and pile up those short rides for big numbers!!!!

I'm at 113/150 or 75% of the way home. No doubts that I'll hit 150. Now shooting for 200. I have a couple big (for me) rides over the weekend planned if the weather holds. And quite possibly, even if it doesn't.

Because of the challenge, I will end up riding about 50% higher than my original goal. As a good sport, I decided to increase my goal to what I should end up with at the end of the month to keep pushing me through the last day of June. That will help motivate me, even though I may only end up at 100%.

I would think that is the responsible thing to do for both teams...

Hey, you change goals, but ask for outs for injuries, Goddesses ride more to compensate for injuries.  To each his own.... (actually, we just found all your trash talk encouragement on the Goddesses thread so motivating, we couldn't help but ride above our goal!)

Slovegreen,

Actually, check your facts. When Chris went down, this is what I suggested:

Chris needs to be helped this month, no problem.

And I haven't ever talked trash on your thread because I believe what we do comes back around to us double. Besides, why would I waste time talking trash when I could be out riding?

Hey Mike,

Wasn't taking a personal stab, just making sure the Testosterbones thread is getting as much trash as ours.  I'm not going to let this turn in to the ordeal like it did yesterday.

Ride ride ride!
