Info from race meeting.  oldest racer 81 years old.  advise: don't go too fast.  his goal time: finish before church on Sunday.  He did get to race Kona at one point.  Finished last.  His comment about that, 'guess that makes me the slowest in the world.'  Gotta love the old guys.

Swim, follow the cones back into the water on a diagonal.  Seed yourself at the swim start - if you're a slow swimmer don't get in front.     ride on the right, pass on the left.  Wear your helmet, no peeing, or anything else except in approved spots.    Aide stations every 10 mi on bike, every 1 mi on run.  Use the porta-potties and the trash drop zones.  there are four extra light towers on the run course.   No drafting - zone = 4 bike lengths.

Does that about cover it?

Jasha and I were going to go and basically practice going in and out of the surf and running along the beach.

Laura's up early.  Yup swimming a little at 7:00

Help with your name please!!  I'm terrible with names, but don't want to be.

Would you mind identifying yourself in the pictures?
I'll go first.  I'm on the far right in the wetsuit pic - green sholders
I'm bottom row right side - BT tri top in the other one.

I am planning on heading over at 7 for a short swim.  I thought the clear goggles was the way to go but even with the clouds yesterday it wasn't as clear as I had thought so I want to give the smoked goggles a try.

In the wetsuit picture I am on the far left in the 2XU wetsuit with blue trim.  In the other I am between Jasha and Sue in the white long sleeve shirt.  The pictures came out nice!

Question: Is the bike portion of S. Thomas drive open to automobiles after the bike portion is completed?  How do you get your bike into your vehicle?

Do you have to walk your bike to Wal Mart?

Does anyone know if S. Thomas drive is open to automobiles in the morning, like 5 am?  If I had a parkin pass for the Boardwalk high rise, could I drive there at 5 am on race day?

No swim for me today. Short bike and run close to 8:30 or so to check out bike again to make sure front deraileur is working, check out what I think I'll wear, and see how tracking device works.

Who's signing up for next year from 9-11? I think I am.

I'm in the Rocket Science Sport wetsuit with the beard. I didn't swim this morning but did make it back to the IM store to get the last male K-Swiss jackets that they didn't have yesterday! Going to drop off gear later this morning and then relax for the rest of the day.

Is there anywhere anyone is planning on meeting tomorrow morning before the race?

I could not hear anything at the race meeting last night, I was way in the back. Will we have access to our transition bags in the morning?

They should be more specific. Peeing your pants in public is perfectly fine.
