It appears that Javelin does not have any of the older models on their website - however, if you search by the bike name in Google you should be able to find some info on each of the bikes.

I got the email, too, and called for info since those prices looked amazing. They emailed me a .pdf with all the bikes in it, along with the components. Got a very friendly, very quick response to my voicemail inquiry. I'd attach the .pdf, but it's too big to upload.

I don't know much about these bikes but for the prices you really can't beat them.  I would say the components are probably worth the price alone.  If I just had not built a bike I probably would have bought one.

Thank you. I'm going to look into them more. Anything beats a $99 Walmart bike.

Here is a link where you can see the bikes.  Dang I wish I would not have just built my bike.  I love the look of the Narni (being a steeler fan I love the colors).  Luckily my new bike does have some red though.

I'm going to get the Fara... Was toying with the Sizzano but since I only have a crappy MTB I decided it was better for a more multi purpose bike.

Javelin 7005 butted aluminum frame with carbon seatstays and 11/8" Hammerhead integrated head tube. Featuring Campagnolo Veloce 10-speed Ergo shifting components, Velomax Vista wheelset, and carbon fork. This bicycle comes ready for race day. Slide in your water bottle and go.

Buying your first "real" bike is nerve wracking.

For $600.00 you think I did OK for someone on a budget?

Would the Sizzano been better?

Is this one of those, "if it seems to good to be true..."    They could sell the components/wheels alone for twice these prices.  Why are they giving them away?

I'm assuming this is 2006 stock. Call them and ask why.

Campy Veloce is a good components groupo, the great thing about it is the ability to micro adjust your front d. to stop rubbing. it is great smooth and built to last.

Bear is right this is all old stock bikes they are trying to move out of there warehouse. You can't beat the prices, and after talking to Dave today, and hearing his phone ringing off the hook in the background, if you want one today would be the day to get it done.

Does anybody know if they are open on Saturday, and if so what thier hours are. I spoke to Dave yesterday, and wanted to place the order today, but I keep trying to call and I don't get anything but a recording saying they are either helping other customers or can't come to the phone...

The place you are calling isn't a store...it's the actual manufacturer.  I asked because I'm only an hour away and was hoping to be able to swing down and try a bike or two out so I could get the right size.  I called again today and just left a message for Dave.  I talked to someone who used to be a Javelin dealer, and he gave me a perspective on what size might be good for me...

Wow,

I was looking at getting a new bike but not planning on a tri bike. At these prices it might be tough to say "no".

They are shipping my Fara out today. My first road bike.

Thanks for the tip Bear.

I'd let you guys know what I think of it, but I will have nothing to compare it to.

I just ordered the Narni.  I should have it by the end of the week (actually, in a couple days, considering I'm so close to them.)  It'll be my first tri bike.  I just couldn't pass it up.

Happy early 30th birthday to me!!  Guess I'll be riding a tri-bike this season!!

Damn .... I'm tempted to get a Fara and then jsut sell off the frame and buy a nice Italian steel one ......

What sort of sizing did they have???  I seriously doubt that they'd have a 58 since that is a popular size ......

What difference does it make if you're selling it off?
