As part of the on-going "get out of the seasonal dumps" program, your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to name ONE (just one) good thing and 'splain why it's good.

like this:

1. good thing = cherry chapstick
2. why? = becuse it makes my lips feel better, it smells good, and has no calories...plus it fits in your pocket.

whatcha got?

here's a random pic of a cute puppy

Good thing? Any book by Douglas Adams.

Why? Let me count the ways it makes me laugh and think.

My Sierra Designs down booties:

Seriously, it's like having your feet wrapped in little feather duvets.  Double the ahhhhh factor by wearing them around a campfire drinking wine and eating s'mores Sweeet!

Renee: She is loyal and loving and not afraid to tell me to take my head out of my a$$, which surprinsingly I need to be told regularly.

Flannel sheets: they feel really really soft, esp when I sleep commando.

As a newbie here I'll lay along.

Good thing? - 5:30pm
Why? - Cause that's when I lock the door to my store and then open a tall can of Stella Artrois.

btw - have you ever been to their web site? Kind of entertaining.

Maybe this is too obvious but.....

This week has been a long week... thanks in part to these three. But seeing them ready to devour the gigantic-est banana split pancakes ever definitely makes me smile.

Sweeney Todd (just came out on DVD)
It's whacky, funny, gory, over the top, super dramatic. Great movie.

Here's 3:  Food, Clothing, Shelter

Do any of us really have anything to complain about?  Seriously, how long have any of you gone without those 3 basic needs?   I consider myself truly blessed and undeserving of the life I have.

When your baby daughter insists that you pick her up when you get home and you do, even though she is covered in food (like you had a choice!).

And Hollis, who, by getting pregnant, has shown me that the universe is properly aligned.
