In the inaugural Kansas 70.3 this year, online registration was open until 1 week before, but you could register at the site on the Friday or Saturday before. Others I believe are already full - don't quote me on that though!  |

It's only valid though for the first 200 registrants though. Visit the GA forum- there's a thread about the race and a coupon code that you can use to get $10. After this month you can register and pay the normal price. It's a weird registration process. |

"Usually" by the end of Sept. it's less humid and the nights/mornings are cooler and the days are warm. Last year was just a really long, hot summer and it was still hot and humid until November-ish. It never really cooled down. So it's really hard to say what type of weather to expect. I'm hoping next year we have more of the "usual" summer next year for the race. The river is a lot cooler than the lakes here so I would expect a wetsuit legal swim. |
