Comments:

It was freezing to start, then I got really hot! I had to stop to tie my shoe just past the turn around point, so I just took off everything down to my sports bra. Much better after that!!

My knee was KILLING me a little past the turn around, so I had to walk some. First mile was 8:58, 2nd mile was 9:02, 3rd mile sucked!

Sounds like a fun time...be sure to ice your knee! Now, take the rest of the day off and relax. Did you beat Sue??

Awesome race! And sounds like a neat course. You got to run over a drawbridge?!? Did you have to fight any dragons along the way?

Congrats!

Good race, way to go on through the pain. Take care of that ITB/hamstring. I'm feeling your pain.

Way to finish without breaking something. I say it's better to finish slow and healthy than push it and be out of commission for too long Take care of that knee and rest up - enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Nice job. Isn't it awesome being in such a huge crowd. I always like a race where there ae always people to look at or get ready to pass. I'll bet without the knee pain youcould have knocked a "chunk" of time off.
