So no one's posted yet about the results?

Good race, it looked pretty hot out there.  Was kind of odd watching online with no commentary.

The course looked kind of dull but I guess they had to do the out and back for spectators.

Snowsill looked strong once she started the run, kept building her lead.

ITU racing is designed to make the race viewer friendly....

Without commentary it was tough to figure out how hot it was....until the end when the girls were dropping and being carted away.....

The Japannese woman didn't look like she knew where she was.....completely out of it.

Great race/effort.....Too bad there were a couple of crashes.

I know - they had NO shade on the run. Earlier on, the commentary said the humidity was at 73%, but they didn't give an air temp. And I bet that blue material they were running on was hot.

I loved the swimming coverage, the water level cams were great.

Sitting in an office now with BBC on they were interviewing Snowsill, no sound so couldn't hear what they were saying but something to watch for.

Quite a few people cam in and went down right at the finish.

we had a thread last night watching it live

I thought the course seemed pretty fun and a leg smasher. Awesome job and congrats to Emma with her awesome race and incredible 33 min 10K split

Good race.  What was the deal with Snowsill when she had to jump over the run barrier.  Did they direct her to the wrong run lane?  Also there was a crash that I didn't see, anyone hurt?

It was a great race; apparently they moved the barriers as the volunteers thought she was coming in on the last lap (or at least that's what I heard).  As for the crash, Groves of Canada had a suspected broken wrist and I would expect that they woman who want face first into the pavement at least has some serious cuts.

Now, go Simon!

One of our Canadian girls broke her wrist in the big crash on the hairpin turn and DNF... Huge bummer. I think there were a couple other injuries as well.

There was also a crash as the girls were running with their bikes into T2, it looked like everyone was okay in the pileup though....

Note to self - when falling off the bike - don't put the hand down - roll...
