Ugh. I need to start getting back in the habit of logging workouts (it's been months) so I think I need to do this challenge.

Can you put me on a team that'll get on my case about keeping my logs updated? Pretty, pretty please? I do the work, I just rarely input anything.

As far as goals go...I'm thinking 60 miles is going to be realistic. I have a marathon on the 12th and usually need a fair amount of recovery time.

All of my whip marks have healed and most of the cattle prod punctures have scarred over so I guess I am due for another challenge...the only thing that worries me is getting kicked with those frickin Pink Tennis Shoes  ...I'm in.

Oh come on now, Steve, I have not kicked anyone yet today .

Oh this would be good.  I'm also doing a weight loss challenge in October so this fits right in!  Put me down for 100 miles.  (There will be some walking and elliptical in there)

I'm in for 100 miles of mostly running and some walking. I may up it once the month starts and I add in more walking miles, but I think 100 is good for now.

This sounds like an interesting group of people!

Oooooooo....

She thinks we're INTERESTING.

I think she wants to be on team Whipped Pumpkins next month. She probably wants to get to know Mila's whip, Mila better.

And we love our whips, cattle prods, and tasers!  Pain is pleasure, right?

I guess I should post my goal.  I'll stick with 60 miles.  Good round number.

I hope I am not angering the running gods by entering this. Put me down for (gulp) 70 miles. If I stay healthy, no problemo. If not, how am I gonna translate that to aqua jogging?

You could jog up and down the length of the pool. Let's see....

1 mile = 1760 yards

70 miles x 1760 yards = 123,200 yards

And the indoor pool is probably 25 yards....

123,200 yards / 25 yards = 4,928 lengths of the pool

Gee. You might want to invest in a Lap Counter for that one....

Have fun! LOL

I'm in for 33 miles (it's weird, I know, but I'm doing the 10% thing).

Since it's the Halloween Run (etc.) Challenge, are we doin' it in costume???

I really don't know about the trash - talkin' thing, though... I might get my overly sensitive Kissgirlie feelin's hurt...

I am in with 50.

In Sept Challenge I had 70 and it seems to have taken a toll on my legs. So back to 50 and go from there.

Thanks,
Stacie

Since aqua jogging is slower, you might want to set your goal in terms of time using whatever your average running pace is?....unless you have alot of extra time
