We have so many people on here doing so many different and cool things I am really curious to know what your goals are for 2009. Here are mine:

Complete all 3 Flapjack TT events, placing in the top 3 at least once in Cat 5.
Get gold status in one or more of these events (El Tour de Phoenix, Tour of the Tucson Mountains, El Tour de Tucson)
Finish a HIM in less than 6:30 - (planning on doing Deuceman)
Just finish Vineman full Iron.
I would also really like to finish a marathon with less pain then before.
Finish a trail marathon.

Sounds like it is going to be a fun year!

Good topic!

Here are mine:

RnR Half Marathon, Flag Running Series, finish HIM (Mtn Man), Soulstice, and some assorted shorter races sprinkled in.

Big goal is to continue to build my (running) base for IMAZ 2010, stay injury-free, and enjoy myself.

Great topic!!

-Lose 20 more pounds

-Complete at least one 70.3 distance (Soma for sure)

-half marathon under 2:30

-30 min. 5K

-Ride 1-2 more centuries

-Become more efficient in all three disciplines

-Continue to enjoy triathlon enough that when IMAZ 09 rolls around I register for 2010.

I think those are the biggies!

2) Become a better swimmer
3) Tentative: DeuceMan
4) SilverMan HIM
5) Maybe get a MTB and start doing that.
6) If #5 and #3, maybe do the DeuceMan double

I predict you will make all these goals, but still be disappointed because it's going to end up being Michael Moore instead of Demi.

Congratulations. It's 2x the work of two, but hey, remember, three is the new two.

How many of us are there now that are 3+?

* Me
* JavaMom
* Marathonmotheroffour
* Fitzy

Wow. We're a stupid crowd. Good news is with all of the childless people here we
should have plenty of babysitters.
