Related to the "All I Want For Christmas Is...." thread but didn't want to hijack...

Here's what I got for Christmas...saw them while in Italy a couple years ago. I wasn't as serious about cycling and multi-sports as I am now, and probably would have been wearing a different size then vs. now. Thought it would be a good shirt to wear to my events, especially if someone would ask, "how will I be able to spot you in the crowd?" Those who know my twisted mind might know what my responce to that question would be...if I'm wearing this jersey.

Hijacking my own thread...

Double bonus...the jersey has a full zipper. All the jersies I wore this year had either half or no zippers. Ended up doing a lot of rain dances trying to get the jersies on and over my head in T1. Always get stuck at the arm pits. A full zipper...why didn't I think of that before?

Well, santa was good and i received a bunch of triathlon related things... haha... go figure. I really needed some cold cycling gear since i had zero.  I was given a Gore Windstopper jacket, canari long cyling pants w/ chamois, tifosi envy tortoise colored sunglasses, new bike computer, nashbar winter cycling gloves, and some cash for the Cotton Bowl (GO REBELS!).

I was given 3 "options" by my wonderful husband.

1) A recumbent bike (this shocked me for more than 1 reason. I had never even entertained the idea of one, mentioned one, or thought hubby would EVER consider another bike. I'll go look today, but don't think Ill choose this one)

2) a skinsuit (yup like they wore at the Olympics (again, would be great in the pool but couldn't wear it for a tri so I think we can discount this although MAYBE could change to a GOOD wetsuit (I have one but it is not the best I could have)

3) USAT Level 1 coaching certification in NY in April (what I wanted but NEVER thought he would agree to, when I mentioned it in passing I wasn't even sure he was paying attention)

Tough choice, but I think I know what I am going to pick!

SICK jersey.  Wow.  couple reasons (1) I'm Italian and (2) I enjoy a nice class of Chianti every now and than.

Some day in the future, I see myself going to Italy, riding by day and enjoying fine wines at night.

anyway, to answer the question, we bought our x-mas gits a little over a month ago, his and her bikes....used Cervelo Dual for me, used Kona Lisa for her....

took my cervelo outside for my first long ride since getting it, weather clear when I left, snowing like crazy 5 minutes in, snow stopped when I got on the trainer in the house.  Murphy's law and Syracuse weather....

Um, hello!!! How much for one of these massages and are you available to give one in Kentucky next year?

Sorry for the hijack, I couldn't resist. No tri gifts here, I spend waaaaay too much throughout the year on tris and coaching to warrant asking for anything at Christmas. I'm getting pretty good at MarioCart though!!
