Is there a map for where we are meeting?

Lisa, I wont leave you.  How far did you want to ride?  Im lazy usally dont ride over 50 but what ever you decide to ride im your Huckaberry...

If you want we can car pool...  But the meeting place is real easy to get too..  If you take the 202 loop, the part that runs through north mesa and get off on CC or Hwy87 and head north.  Youll see a gas station on the right hand side. Park..  well Im pretty sure thats how you get there..

Milton, I don't want to hold you back the whole time!  I would love to do the full 65 but we can see how the day goes.  What time would we need to meet to carpool?  I can at least follow you over!

Carpool or follow, it doesnt matter to me..  If you want to carpool I would need to be at your place by 520.  Taht way we can all be ready to roll out by 600.  I havent riden 50+miles since SOMA laat year, so this should be interesting..

Hey Everyone -(waves fantically)!
I want to get a last ride in this weekend before Nathan's and my riding partner is sick. Thought I would maybe tag along with you guys...can anyone come along? :-) I have never ridden this part of the road before and wanted to check to see if it would be cool if I came along (maybe). I am still figuring out my schedule and when I need to be home with the kids, but if it works out...would love to meet you all and see what this ride is all about! What speed do you guys ride at? I am still pretty green, Nathan's will be my first tri but am loving this sport!
I am assuming the gas station you talk about is the Exxon station before you get to Bush HWY? is this right?
Just let me know, thanks so much!!!

I haven't ridden this route yet either but the group is a great bunch of people to workout with. All levels of experience and speeds and always looking for new people to meet.

Gas station is at McDowell and the Beeline (87). It is an Indian owned Shell station.

Have a great ride for those of you doing the Beeline tomorrow.  Kim and I will be flying tomorrow morning in Chandler if anyone else that isn't riding wants to come out and fly.  We're meeting at 5:45 AM at Tumbleweed park (SE corner of Germann and McQueen).  I'll be doing a ride after if you want to do a fly/ride brick.

Hey Guys,
I am almost positive I will be able to ride this with you guys...couple questions...
how is the shoulder on the road? Is there much traffic and have you all done this route before? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to know what to prepare myself for! Thanks so much!

Susan, there is a nice shoulder with a big rumble strip between you and the cars.  (This makes me feel better...but don't space off and ride over it)!  We ride this route all the time.  It's where the largest part of the IMAZ loop goes, so we ride it a lot to be prepared.  Traffic is lightest in the morning, with it picking up throughout the day, but again, with the rumble strip there I feel like if someone DOES stray into the bike lane, hopefully that strip would wake them up before they hit anyone!!!

See you in the morning.
Also.....water stop at 30 miles (gas station), 45 miles (cars), and 55 iles (gas station only if needed on the second loop).

Ok cool, thanks Tanya! Again, just trying to be prepared, I am soo excited to meet you guys! You all seem like such a fun group and I am finally at a place where I feel I can hang out with you all in training - yay! See you in the morning!
Oh, if it gets to 6am and I am not there, please know that something came up (two young kids at home - so you never know). I will try to be early :-)! Thanks again !

I will most likely be the slowest rider so there is no fear of being left behind. The route is very straight forward no strange loopdy doos and stuff like that. It is a beautifull gradual climb out of the valley and then the ride back is super great for me (being a big guy) because it is down hill. The wide shoulder is a super plus. I ride this alone every now and then. BRING EXTRA TUBES AND CO2. I will have a pump as well as CO2. Can't wait to ride with everyone again. It has been a long time.

Who's riding Saturday? Plan calls for 3.5 hours. I was thinking of riding Beeline to 9 mile hill and back. Sounds like Beeline is jacked up though. Anybody else have any other suggestions? If I can't get a group together then I'll push the ride to Sunday to ride with the IMAZ group.
