Here in Maryland it is been raining almost non-stop for a week ... I have a 3 hour ride scheduled today - and two BTers to ride with! - and we had to cancel because of the rain/ tstorms on the radar.

Looking like a looooong trainer ride

Hasn't the weather been awesome??  I was planning on getting out there for a much shorter ride this morning, but of course that won't be possible.  I'm being hopeful for tomorrow...

I feel your pain.  I've snuck in a couple of good rides this week and got out there early this AM before the rain comes.  CT hasn't been so great either...

I don't know.  We had rainy weather for 4 days, and forecast of 3 more days of rain/storm.  But this morning the sun was out for a bit.  I took the opportunity to get a ride in - became overcast but still dry.
A bunch of MA BTers are doing the Patriots HIM today.  It's all good.

It is barely summer in Illinois and it will be hot and humid with no rain for the next week. By hot, I mean 95 degrees, and by humid I mean above 80% RH in the afternoon. I could go for some straight rain, I love running in TSTMS.

I was able to get in a 2.5 hr ride in early this AM before the rain began AGAIN! I thought I might have forgotten how to ride without being attached to something stationary.

May was the second highest rainfall for that month in the records.

June is well on its way to doing the same.

After the really bitter cold we had through all of winter and the crappy, rainy spring I'm really starting to hate this place more and more.

Drought my azz!!!

I feel your pain 100%.  MD weather has sucked this year.  I was able to squeeze in a 4 mile recovery run this am (my first workout since E-man), and the 99.99999% humidity was super pleasant.

I've had two times that the wind has been blowing over 40mph during my rides.

They had a sprint triathlon here.  It poured down rain.  Here's a picture of part of the run.

Looks like that rain cleared out quicker than expected.. So I went running with my fiance.. I would have preferred that it was still raining as opposed to the humidity we endured.

You roadies have almost nothing to complain about though, the trails in this area have been unridable for the past few weeks, and won't dry up for another week, at the earliest.  Pavement dries up in a few hours, and you could go now if you'd feel like enduring the humidity.

You want my 95 degrees with 87% humidity. Because it kinda sucks.

The heat can stay, the humidity can GO.

I had a short swim workout planned (1400M).... no less than TEN SECONDS after I got out of the pool.... it closed for thunder.  How's THAT for timing?!  Ha, tricked you Mother Nature -- you thought I had a longer workout planned, didn't you?

had a 5.5 hr ride this morning. Got 1.5 hr before the POURING rain started. So 28 of the 90+miles were dry. Looks like i will be spending the next 2 hours cleaning/lubing the bike

Ugh, I hate the weather this week.  I think I biked a total of five miles  (I really need to get a trainer... maybe someday when I get money.)  I had this awesome combination of getting rained on and getting tendonitis in my wrist.

The best weather-related part of this week, for me, was when I was in the parking lot of the local Target and the Emergency Broadcast System came on the radio - "The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for Allegheny County."  Seconded by the fact that our city is a literal disaster area, and thirded by the random road closures due to downed trees and other debris in my neighborhood.

Trishie - know your pain - did 2 hours on my trainer today.  **yawn**

tomorrow I have a required trainer ride (as I'm doing run/bike/run intervals) - so I'm bringing my trainer out to my driveway.  I might not be moving, but darn-it, I'm going to be outside!

Same thing here, Trishie!!  I went out yesterday for what should have been 3.5 hours, and turned around at 30 min because it was so gross, wet and cold.  Was going to try again today, but ended up on the trainer for 3 hours and a very wet 20 minute run after.  I did set up the trainer in the garage and used a spinervals which helped it go by faster.
