Not many missed out on picking Cav for the Stage 2 win. Don't forget about the wind, if the mistral gets up tomorrow...... hope it does like last year.

Sorry Jens for taking this job away from you but I've got an hospital appt. & don't know when I'll be back.

Three places on the podium ~ three picks

Hard not to see Cav taking this one. Columbia are so good at getting him to the line now.

Cav

Farrar

Hushovd

Boring, but likely. How many stages does everyone reckon Cav will get? I think 7.

Is it to see the female doctor who always asks you to drop your pants? (That's shorts to the US peeps)

Hope it goes well.

1 - Cavendish (because you would be ridiculous to bet against him right now)

2 - Cancellara (because if the wind gets up and the bunch splits he will be right up the front riding safe so not miss the break)

And.... I want to pick a breakaway rider... someone who is good... I was gonna go Belgian because of the winds but looks like the French are really keen for breaks at the moment.. so someone who wasnt out there yesterday?  DeMoulin? Feillu? Bonnet? Voeckler? Moncoutie? Then again... Efimkin likes to get away too..... Goubert? Sigh...

3 - Efimkin - for no good reason at all!

Oh... and its Van De Walle out of the Tour with collarbone... details here: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/jurgen-van-de-walle-out-of-tour

Cavendish again.  Doubt anyone will be able to take him until later in the stages when the train starts to be tired.

Columbia is just to strong with their lead-outs.  Reminds me of Pettachi's old "Blue Train."
