Great Job.  Can't wait.  Probably won't compete, but will come out cheer.  And I'll make sure to bring the wife who I'm sure will bid on items.  

It would be great if those of us not in CO could register as Mike suggested.  All the money is going to the fund correct?  Then we can race in our own location and raise more money.

How about setting up a 'virtual' category for each of the distances, so beyond-Coloradans can submit results for the distances?

You could set up/submit them like any other race, and BT users could file via race reports.  You could include a link to the Paypal Donation page there as well.

Mike, FYI I've submitted the 2-mile swim as a race for the Race Logs, but wasn't sure about how to reference the 1/2 and 3- mile distances in the same event.

Also, the Paypal donations link was omitted from the race submission, I was unsure how/where you might want this included (or if you'd prefer this one).  It is referenced prominently througout the site.

I don't know if this is true but I heard he recently lost his health insurance.  Is there a way someone could check and see if he could be eligible for COBRA?  Its a monthly expense but WAY less than what is bill is going to be and easily raised compared to a month in the ICU.

Hi everyone,

I will be there selling cups of coffee for $1.00 per cup. All proceeds will go to them. I usually give cups for free at the races I sponsor, however, this time I thought selling the cups would be appropriate.

I will also be selling bags of coffee as well and 50% of the proceeds from the bags will go to them.

I know it will not be much, however, I feel I am part of the effort.

I would love to do this remotely but I cannot figure out how to register online.  I can't do paypal.  Paypal hates me.  I had an account once which after hours on the phone I canceled but their computer wont' let me make a new account because it thinks I already have one. Is there some other way?

I sent checks in the mail today to the addresses listed just after the accident, one to Dime's bank account and one to Julie's.  I will be swimming on Sunday at my gym in Pearland, TX.  Probably only the 1/2 mile distance but I will be swimming.

These two people have some wonderful friends, hats off to you all!!!
