I know a local triathlete who has come pretty close to KQ .....I feel like a sloth next to her, but I realize that its all relative! My non-tri friends are in awe of me.....I am in awe of this woman....and she , in turn, is in awe of those who actually do KQ. The way I figure it the only person who is perhaps satisfied is Chrissie!!! |

And while we're on the subject: If you are actually really fast, don't indulge in false modesty--it just makes others feel like they've got farther to go if you poor-mouth your performance here when it turns out you actually took home hardware. (The recent thread that started out implying--based on stuff on ST--that 1:07/100 for the swim was really slo-o-o-w put me in mind of that...thankfully that got straightened out as the thread went along.) Just sayin'... |
