Member  49 |  Subject: Denver for DimeTriathlon Sean and I are in the initial stages of setting up a fundraising team for the Denver Marathon and would like to invite anyone else who is running the Denver Marathon, whether the full, the half or even a relay to considor joining us in running the race for Richard Paradis aka "Dick Dime". Our fundraising will be linked to Dime's official sight and will probably consist of getting pledges as well as outright donations. We also have a friend who is doing Dublin for Dime as well. Let me know if anyone else is interested or has fundraising experience and can give me advice. Thank you, Fil |

We are ecstatic that we have raised more than $15K for Richard in the last three weeks, but we have a whole lot more to raise considering his expected very long recovery and all the associated costs. |

You know I'm in of course already... so now let's figure out how we can get to raising some FUNDS for Richard! What do we have going so far? I plan on doing some email blasts with friends and then seeing if we can plan a fundraising event to represent our Denver for Dimes Marathon crew! Maybe we can plan something with a concert or a bar event... any ideas folks? |
