Subject: RE: Lab Rats NeededFull Disclosure: I don't want everyone getting there hopes up that this product is the next Garmin 305 etc.....remember, we are setting a retail market price below $20. The device we are working on will indicate changes in body core temprature. Note this is not your acutal body core temprature, but simply a base number that correlates to body core temp.....during exercise this temprature rises, and the device indicates this change to you. If you are over exerting yourself or not hydrating properly (thus causing the body to overheat ) then your temprature will be indicated in a "hot" zone. I also have noticed that my temprature seems to increase quickly when I am not feeling well and still exercise....seems to correlate with my HR just the same. We are working very hard to limit how external factors such as ambiant air temprature affects the device. This of course will work for both hot and cold climates. So far we have had some better than expected results with this problem. Of course one way to fix this permantly would be to allow for the device to be inserted rectally, but for some reason all of you guys don't want to allow for that moderate inconvience........"moooooooon river....using the whole hand there doc?"
