lextek - 2009-10-25 6:19 PM OK now just a bike mount. Dock adapter for heart rate and cadence. Not really a stretch.

I've seen bike mounts for iPhones.

Will nutrition logging be available?  If so, please consider a local database to speed searches and entry.

Routes?  Use the internal GPS to track my route and log elevation/speed/etc.

Nutrition will not be available in the first version but we plan to add it at some future date.

GPS tracking will not be available either.  It is our opinion that most people use some other device (Garmin etc..) for GPS tracking.  We do not believe that most triathlete would bike/run with their iPhone.  We shall see if the feature is highly requested in the future.

The way the Apple development process works this is not feasible but I do appreciate the offer.

Looks great so far! For me, I would personally prefer to either a. toggle that on and off, or b. leave it off all together. Having that information will not help me in my training in any way.. Thank you for asking! If you need a beta tester, would love to help out!

I have a bike mount / moisture proof armband for the iphone that slides over the areo bars and then back on the arm a run.

There's a runkeeper app that uses the gps chip in the phone and works like the gps watches.  At the end of a run/bike it shows speed, pace, elevation, maps, and 1 minute splits.  Its pretty awesome.

Plus u got your phone and ipod running in the background...

The price has not yet been set.  It will not be free however.  I see no reason it will not be available in Australia.

Can you find a way to sync it with Run Keeper.  It is the best GPS app out there right now for biking and running.

no answer.... but dude, where'd you come from??? Couple years off the board? Coming back?

Oh, and I know it's not the thread to say I want an android app. I wouldn't say that here. That wouldn't be right....
