Happy Monday all! I have a slow 2 weeks for work, the pool is closed and no preschool classes! Just my land fitness classes. So only teach bodyvive tonight(would usually have 1 sport class and 3 water classes along with BV) soooo I'm thinking of doing step and pump today.....

Good morning Cookies!!

I apologize, I have done a horrible job at updating the spreadsheet. I hope to get my logs and the spreadsheet caught up after I wrap some presents tonight.

Have a great day all!

Okay team, here's a question. If I need to change my goals due to weather, can I do it myself on the spreadsheet, or do I have to have someone do it for me? Without a way to run in the snow, I think I need to scale back my running goals, but I'm going to be spending more time on the trainer.

I went ahead and changed the spreadsheet to reflect my new goals. With no slow plows in sight, no melting, no Yaktrax, and no treadmill, I brought my run goal down, but to compensate I added time to my planned biking. Looks like the trainer and I are going to become better friends over the next week or so. Probably a good thing, since my kitchen (and tummy) are being bombarded by many a delicious Christmas treat!

Twas two days before Christmas,
And all through the Gym,
Only Evil Elves could be found,
Vixens & Cookies were nowhere around

The other teams were nestled all snug in their beds,
Their tummies were filled with wines... whites and reds.
When suddenly in the pool there arose such a clap
That was the Elves swimming hard, lap upon lap,

The Elves had piled up miles, of running and biking,
They had destroyed the competition, not to the their liking,
And the Elves were victorious, and it felt so right,
Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!

GO ELVES!!! Cool

Good morning cookies!  My arse hurts!  From running.  Junk in the trunk sore.  Shoogle sore from all the bouncing.   hehehe.

My Xmas vacation starts @11am today! I got a nice bonus yesterday so I think some shopping is in order. Going to find myself a nice lightweight, pocket a plenty running jacket I think.

I hope everyone is having fun out there

GO COOKIES!

Good morning Cookies (well it is for me). I got in a swim and run yesterday and am now at 100%. Two grandkids arriving today for a 5 day stay, so I'm glad my challenge goals are wrapped up. We still have time to catch those elves.

Great job! And well planned out, to have your goals wrapped up before the grandkids descend on you.

Well, here is the last Sunday update of the Du-December Challenge!  Hopefully everyone had a great holiday and got in their workouts!  (and not too, too much food...)  The smack talk has turned up in the last week or so, how about those results...  Drum roll please....  the standings with 4 days left to go are as follows:

89.7% Vixens Revisited
81.3% Frostbite Force
78.6% Evil Elves
70.4% Christmas Cookies

Get your workouts in and get them logged!  The sprint to the finish is here!  Team captains, please stay in touch if there are illness, injuries, etc on your teams!

I have 12 miles yet for the run and three more pounds to lose. I know I will do the 12 miles between now and the end of the month, but those 3 pesky pounds! Salads this week and no late night indulgence of light ice cream for me. Plenty of water as well.

Hope everyone had a pleasant Christmas!

Merry Xmas Cookies!!

Take it easy on that knee Big Easy!

Thanks...a few timely threads in the forum have helped there. I just need to stop being a sissy and put my foam roller to use. It has helped already...5 mile run yesterday with no pain. Keep stretching, rolling, and strengthening and I will be fine. Marathon training kicks off January 25th, so need to be healed by then and back to 30-35mile/week base mileage.
