signed up just the other day... entry fees are REAALLY good for being an HIM. Not to mention I like the idea of all of the entry fee going to charity.

Do you know anyone who's done this race? Reviews? What is the park like, the course? Thanks

This is the first year for the race.  The swim is very similar to a lot of the other swims for the area (Columbia Tri, Irongirl, etc.)  The bike course is fairly hilly, with mixed in rolling hills. I hope to ride the bike course in the next few months or so for the first time.

The run course is two loops around the lake and surrounding neighborhoods.  Fairly hilly as well.

You can't ask for a better group & a better cause than the Ulman Cancer Fund, the race sponsor and beneficiary. The course is marked on the road, so should be fairly easy to follow on your own, and seems like someone from MMTC is riding the course every weekend.

I'm in for the Aqua Velo.  I see that Chipotle is going to be the post-race meal sponsor.  Does that mean that we get a giant Chipotle burrito at the end of the race?  Because that would be awesome.

Haven't heard anything about the water temps but I'm sure it will be wetsuit legal considering the rain that we've gotten recently.

Water temp today was 76 degrees per twitter.com/halffulltri.  Probably will cool down some from there with the monsoon we're supposed to get in the next day or two.
