Comments: Started strong, feeling good, felt good the whole time, but my sighting was atrocious What would you do differently?: Stop sucking at sighting, it was calm, I even sighted often, but my lines were bad bad bad. Transition 1
Comments: Caught on one ankle, rest was good. What would you do differently?: No clue whats going on with getting the wetsuit off lately. Bike
Comments: Good effort on the bike, held 215 average watts. I was happy with that all around. I was lacking strength and potentially could have pushed harder on a normal day. Transition 2
Comments: Good transition, smooth, moved well. Run
Comments: Great effort on the run, another breakthrough, could have pushed the second mile harder, but overall it was good Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: No excuses, has been a busy week, and very little sleep the 2 nights prior plus being physically exhausted from being in the heat those days added up. Great race despite all of this. Event comments: Race is nothing special, outside of size. It was not bad, but yet another Vacation Sports race. Distances not true, clusterf*ck with ranking, Somehow I went from 1st AG15-20 minutes after I finished, to 2nd an hour later, and tonight it shows 3rd... something is jacked up with the system, regardless, my time was awesome. Yogurt and Granola, Marathon Bar prerace, Gu Chomps 15 minutes prior to starting.
Bit of a bike, run until my ankle started getting sharp pains, stretching, then all was good. A fast swim and then a lot of waiting.
