Remember that Neal (disturbed 275) was in a very serious crash on RAGBRAI in July and still can't run all out.  He has about 7 miles left to go and he is at 10:33:10.  He told me two weeks ago that he would be lucky if he could run 50% of the marathon.

One of the toughest guys I've ever met, and I have met some pretty tough guys.  Finish strong my friend!!!!

WooHooo!!  I looked at the athlete tracker and it had him way back so I knew that tracker thing was off.   FANTASTIC!  He is set to be pretty close to his pre crash goal!!

THat was fantastic!  THere had been so many crowds finishing I was afraid I missed him, just as I turned the volume up on the audio they announced his name.

Perhaps overcoming all he has to get to starting line makes finish that much sweeter~

Just wanted to give a shout out to Art, too. He's on the run right now. Haven't seen his second split.

Also, who designed that awesome athlete tracker? I've never seen that before. Do they have it for most of the IM races?  The Ironman site seems to slow down to a crawl on many of these races. For IMKY it wasn't working at all.

Athlete tracker isn't working for everyone who signed up and paid for it. I see some folks still on the bike but are well on their way on the run. I tested it at IMLP in '08 and it didn't work for me.

It would be nice with the high race fees WTC collects they had technology that worked.
